  • Hi, I see you've added a check valve to your setup. I just got this on sale for 8 bucks and set it up. I'm noticing my first bubbles just now so I think that's a good sign. :) (I bought my own yeast/baking powder since the packets were over 2 years expired). Is the check valve absolutely necessary? What's the worst that COULD happen if I don't add one? Right now I'm afraid to mess around with it since it's working well (from what I can see).

  • @JaredK511 You don't have too but it's more of a precaution.

It wiill prevent siphon of the co2 liquid into your tank which is a very very bad thing that will destroy your tank in minutes.

  • @JaredK511 also check my part 2 ..which is what alot of people use

  • This setup is not working right. You need to start the bubbles at the bottom to give the CO2 bubble more travel time. Just ignore the markings on the ladder for your tank size. You should see that the bubble get smaller as they travel up the ladder and almost all CO2 dissipates into the water. If your bubbles don't get smaller and bubbles escape at the top, it's not working right. Your bubbles are also too big. Move the intake to the bottom and make sure the ladder is level, your is not level.

  • @FreddyDrifter u got all that from this vid? LOL. I know what you mean. No longer using this setup. This setup is for CO2 ladder only.

  • how long did it take your bubbles to start traveling up the ladder? My bubbles just sit there do nothing

  • @TheBossManhunt it shouldn't take long..usually about 1-2 hour after setup...the bubble will come out and make its way up the ladder and slim the path for other bubble.

  • hey wanna hear something funny. i checked the packets of my stabilizer and activator and they expired. TWO YEARS AGO! i guess i have to pick up some new ones. i added another activator packet hoping i can get some results

  • hey just want to let u know im getting some bubbles now but they are coming out very slowly! should it increase in a couple hours ??

  • @bayxtb YES man! Once u start noticing bubble its a good sign!

I think you use less yeast so the reaction is slow just like mine. The more yeast you use, the faster reaction time and shorter duration the co2 bottle will last.

  • i used the activator and stabilizer packets sugar and warm water. i saw u had a white bottle with a green top mine did not come with that! please help!

  • @bayxtb make a video so I can see..cause if you follow the direction it should have work.

  • @bayxtb don't waste your money on those packet..if you need the ingredients for bottle..pm me

  • hey mine is taking forever to start!!

  • @bayxtb please tell me what and how much amount you use.
