@MnmAndHersheysAreYum Try searching "I got Rhythm sheet music" on ebay, provided your willing to buy and know your way around ebay. Failing that I'd still recommend you buy it in print or via digital copy as alot of the online music databases seem to be a litttle inaccurate. But make sure its a source you trust

i cannot imagine how hard it was for black musicians during the 30s, 40s, and other time periods where racism was so blatantly out in the open. The lact of respect from the audience in the beginning of this is appaling. But like most artists back then, they won everyone over with their grace, beauty, and talent!

However,blacks have contributed is more wayt than entertainment by inventing many important items we use; A stop light was a black invention, hair products for black women, and Louis Latimer helped Edison create the light bulb. Many black did not receive full credit for these things, bc some whites back then..

It's not as simple as inventing/creating something outside of music and being recognized for blacks in this country. More like they can only be taken seriously when creating music, dance, ect. The racial history of this country is complex and still functions in complicated ways. Now, times have changes,and sadly there a re many black performer (mainly mainstream rappers) who are stereotypes...
