Final Fantasy XIII-2 Review

I noticed on the previous game final fantasy xiii if I set my ps3 in german I can play it in german with german subs but when I tried the same thing with FFXIII-2 I can't, do I have to set it up differently or it's just not possible with XIII-2 which sucks because my first language is german and I like playing games in german once in a while since I use english in every day life since I live in Canada.

It's a weird statement, but I think it means that something in the future is messing with the past, so if you go to the future and deal with it, then the past will be changed.

If only Final Fantasy games had a better combat system!!! (My opinion) If you think about, wouldn't you rather have a combat system like the beyond badass cut scenes, or some cheap combat system.(My opinion)

@eftultima didn't used to change much tho, most of the time, the same thing would happen no matter what you picked, for example in ff7 when tifa asks, 'did you sleep alright?' and you can reply, 'next to you who wouldn't...' LOL one of my favourites....

Final Fantasies 7, 8, 9 and 12 were great. Final Fantasy 10 was perfect. I don't like the new direction Square-Enix is going in with FF13 and 13-2. They are.. too weird. For me anyway.

@sKiiTs8 My favorites FF games are 7, 8 and 9.

By order: 7, 9 and 8.

This is based on the story of the game and how the game develops, 7 was actually a disappointment in the beginning, and slow, however it became better and better. 9 was my first FF game, i loved the start, and the story is awesome too from the beginning to the end, 8 is probably the only one who was great all the game, but no minigames at all like 7 and 9, but the card were great tho. =\

@gluesniff3r It's sort of hard to explain. But playing the ones up to final fantasy X just felt .. right. They had just the right amounts of character complexity and storytelling, especially number X - the ones before it tended to be a bit simpler.

13 seemed to overexpose character personalities and try to develop all of them intimately to the player, in the end turning most of them into whiny and unappealing characters. Especially Hope and Serah.. Jesus. It was all pretty corny really.

@renanherz I get what you are saying about the characters. Hope for me was ok, given he was a damned brat. Sazh was the only relatable one (to some extent), but vanille and fang, oh my god. I personally i still wouldn't call it weird tho. Corny, yeah thats most jrpgs.
