The Battle of Dreux was fought on December 19, 1562 between the Catholics and the Huguenots. I am descended from a family called LeDrew (anglicized form). The people who fled from Dreux were known as Les Dreux, meaning the people who come/came from Dreux. Many ended up in Newfoundland just after the cod fish were discovered off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland.

Interesting comment - "Christians contribute to society". One cannot say that about muslims. He is right about the fact that the only people who work in a muslim society are the Christians who live there.

"Christians contribute to society" "inspired by God" yes, inspired by true morality. I'm descended from at least two Huguenots on my father's side of the family: Mary Gano (Marie Madelain Gayneau); & Valentine Sevier (Xavier). However, Christians are the true ~Israelites~, Jews are not. 'Jews' are imposters, pretending to be the "chosen"; pretending to be Israelites. It's been proven that the majority of today's Jews' ancestors were ~converted~ to Judaism in relatively recent history.
