His voice is amazing. Maybe its just the acoustics of the theater they are in. But I'm tellin' you what. If I didn't see the video, and heard this recording, I would almost think it WAS studio. The way the guitar and voice blend so perfectly. I'm a musician myself, so maybe I just have an ear for things like that. But he is an amazing vocalist here.

Hoobstank is definately a studio band. This particular performance is kinda ok...but others are horrible. He just cant re-produce live... I have to side with other comments here... Brandon Boyd is by far the top out there (in my opinion). Live, recorded..doesn't matter.. he's just good. Layne was great as well but thats a whole different genre so its not apples to apples.
