  • Man I wish I had shooting oportunities like that. And they're so big compared to gophers. There's hardly any gophers left where I live.

You need long piece (10-12 feet) of double strand barbed wire to stick down the hole. Just turn like it was a drill and the barbs snag the fur and you can pull him back up the hole. Dead or alive. Coil it up when you don't need it so it doesn't snag on anything you don't want snagged.

  • lol! "where did you hit him?" -silence- "he doesnt have a head"

  • nice shot.. where did you kill this ground piggy at?

  • Thanks... all I will say is I'm not far from you. :)

  • Love the Pulp Fiction intro!! nice shot! you've got some good vid's...don't let these haters get you down. They're just mad because they've never killed anything in real life, and the only time they tried to, they failed! haha That custom Mauser must have been pricey

  • Thanks! I appreciate your positive comments. We built my Mauser from scratch from a 96 Swedish Mauser action. It took us quite a while to finish, and cost us a pretty penny. But it was definitely worth it.

  • My papaw used to smoke them out with old railroad flares for me when I was a kid. I hate these things ...hate 'em!!

I loved, "He doesn't have a head". LOL

  • hi guys, just finished watching vids 1- 16, and wanted to say they were great. you have some sweet rifles and must spend alot of time reloading and bench shooting. my personal choice is a rem. 700 in .22-250, shoots .25 in. groups at 100 yds, 1 in. high @ 100 pretty much hold dead on out to 200yds. pull the trigger and the buzzards fly in for lunch :) keep the vids coming!

  • Yeah, you're right, we do alot of reloading... thanks for your positive comments! I have many mor hours of footage I just havent had time to edit them together. I will do it soon though, now that hoggin' season is back!

  • I just wacked the first hog this year, got him with my trusty ruger m77 target rifle in .243, i used 55 gr win ballistic silvertip ammo. 297 yrds on the nose in a crick bottom. I still need to get a good camera , hopfully before summer is out.

  • They are good practice for you long range shooting skill. I estimate a kill shot on a groundhog to be about a 5 inch area. If you can hit that consistently from hundreds of yards away, thats pretty good in my opinion...

  • Oh okay that is cool. Because that is some very interesting hunting.

    They make excellent target's huh!

  • You are welcome you have done excellent work.

They must really be a pain in the butt?

We are gonna start bowhunting them soon!

  • I have hours and hours of more hunting footage, but i have been so busy the last several months, I havent had a chance to edit anything together. I plan on trying to get some more uploaded soon.

  • Good shooting man.

  • Thanks, I appreciate all the positive comments you have left. :)

  • good shot and vid congrats
