@92rabzouzjihad He was not expelled, he made a tactical retreat to through the Swiss Alps to avoid the destruction of his army, furthermore he deafeted French forces trying to stop him, so while Napoleon was defeated, Alexander was not.

Massena failed to destroy Suvorov, victorious Suvorov escaped with all his troops almost without losses.

Yet he returned 3/4 of his man back home with flags and regiment relics, he broke through all french lines on his way back to Russia without munition, food and warm cloth! If Massena beat him why didn't he capture Suvorov ? Where are captured flags ?
