Assassin's Creed 2 was a great good followed up by a mediocre 7 hour dlc (Brotherhood). I am so sick of the Ezio story line that I don't ever plan on playing Revelations. Im glad we wont have any more game with Ezio. Ubisoft... AC 3... Japan... NO MORE FILLER!

Assassins creed 2 was the best assassins creed in my opinion. i loved all the italian citys, the free roalm, i mean it was amazing to me. i loved the sick black armor of altire, the auditore villa was sick, and i mean like the graphics blew mw away. i enjoyed watching ezio go from the kid he was to a full pledge assassin.

you know what i dont get... assassins creed had the best graphics for 2008 in my opinion. They were great they just needed to put abit more effort into the faces. But when you come to AC2 the grahics are... well not shit but not the greatest the faces even seemed odder then the first one. its like someone took over the art design.

For some reason, eventhough Rome is much bigger than Venice, Venice stills seems bigger.. I srsly like the various cities formula in Ac1 and 2. AcB and ACR only has one city and makes the game seem much smaller..

1 is fun but people say it is pretty repetitive, I thought so too but enjoyed anyways because it was different.

2 and Brotherhood are the best and there's no big difference between them.

Revelations add some new gadgets like bombs and a grappling thing which are fun, but the game itself is shorter, they removed the goddamned horse, there are less side missions, added stupid den defense and it closes the story of Ezio.

I'd put in this order:

2 & Brotherhood

Revelations

AC: very repitive and boring, but nice graphics.

AC 2: better graphics, better combat, much better storyline. Best assassins creed game.

AC Brotherhood: a little better graphics, better combat but too easy, very short story, boring story, added things to the franchise which felt completly useless like the recruiting new assassins.

AC Revelations: much better graphics, better story than the last one but still short, added some new useless and annoying things like den defense. better city design.

I agree about everything you said including the easiness aspect. The thing I notice that makes things easy is blocking/counter attacking. Instead of a 100% success rate, possibly a 20-25% chance of them countering the counter could happen which would make you have to mix up strategy more often (e.g. strafing away/dodging) instead of relying on block.
