Very nicely done Brother Tim. I was not aware of your artistic talents. Your 'Doodles' have a lot of detail and complexity to them, very 'professionally' done. Thanks for sharing your drawings with us Brother!
These are just stunning brother Tim. I love doing the pen and ink/watercolour, but now also do pencil and watercolour, for a softer finish. I love the different mediums that can be used. What a wonderful gift God has given you. Bless you for sharing.
you have all these hidden talents, I wonder what's next.
you are really good at the harmonica, now this..
maybe u live a secret life and work at a professional circus. who knows what talent you bring out next, lol! jp.
but seriously, wow these are good.
I dunno how you or anyone can do this.
I gave up on learning to draw a long time ago...my mind just doesn't work that way..so I have to resort to appreciation of art which is just as good imo!
Hey that's really great! :) I always had difficulty working with watercolors...they always bleed on me :P I do far better with acrylic. And colored pencil.
I sometimes add prisma color to my watercolors to intensify color in areas. I found that id you use one color, or stay very close in the family of a color, that you can apply, wait for it to dry, and then move to the next color.
Working in the darker regions first, and then on to medium, then lighter colors, or tones.
It's a good test in patience :) I think I never wait long enough for them to dry quite enough, then I try another shade, color, or blending and I inevitably get a bleeding watercolor starburst! I'm like "oh shoot!"...and it's all downhill from there. The end result is a blobby, blurry, murky smudge! LOL.
I do okay with plain black India Ink though. Greater margin for error and easily correctable :)
I have destroyed a lot of work that way. I find that if I have prepared enough material, that I can move from one, to the other, to another, so that by the time I get the last of a series complete in one color, the first is then ready for the next phase.

They're wonderful! The watercolors add a very earthen, homely feel to them! Your skills are both classical, and natural in the design flow!
