Do not sneer at this. Not everyone can afford the hi tec of USA hospitals This risk of general anaesthetic in a poor country will be greater than this sort of procedure. Laparoscopic operations also have risk, need training and keeping the equipment sterile problematic. Its a diffrerent assessment of risk in poorer countries. Disposable theatre gear is also expensive

Thank God i live in the U.S., I mean thank you Lord!! I had my appendectomy 3 weeks ago by American surgeons, and after watching this barbaric shit, I very much appreciate that, You have to appreciate to live in this country, it's a fucked up world out there.

This is great, as long as the guy knows what he's doing, surely , he must be experienced fellow to let cameras inside while doing this..........................­....laparascopy for what? just because they aint speaking english doesn't mean anything. this's much cheaper and the so called key hole incision is done ...............Bravo!

very bad uneducated surgeon i am agree with (eBiology) comments , how could u picked the inflamed appendix with toothed forceps, in this procedure there was a 100% chance of perforation appendix inside abdominal cavity and i am sure that this patient came to u or to another surgeon with complication after surgery, plz upload her video of present condition

i agree with drsaurahmudgil. this is really a perfect video showing how appendectomy done by unsafe surgeons. could not imagine even picking up the bowels with toothed forceps. they also contaminate the surgical site and thus increases Surgical Site Infection. this technique should be condemned. the patient was even allowed to take cola. patient should be on npo.
