About his right hand style,I do not think it might be a neurological issue,He`s been playing that way since He was in Hawaii project,a long time ago,in this case I just can say about a prostetic device,Kirk Hammett uses the same device to avoid feedback noises from hi amp volume,that is not a problem,is question of performance,it is used to palm mute,Marty used that maybe for a reason,elbow,hehe,,Also,He does not need someone to mute his guitar,or else We`d see two persons playing instead Marty

Funny how Marty said when he is in the studio he will have a piece of tape on the first fret or have someone to hold a finger on the string (not fret) so his unusual picking style doesn't make feedback.

It wasnt because of his picking style dude. Most guitarist put tape over the first fret not to get feedback. But Marty said that if someone put their finger over it was much better than the tape..

man if he likes pk¡laying that way why in studio he needs help from someone else to mute the string. ALso the right technical way to mute then is by using your right hand.

If you look at some megadeath live concerts you'll notice that he uses some kind of prostetic device in his right hand to hold the pick. ..he had some neurologic problem which affected his right side of the body.

That`s a beutiful way of playing, great sound. I`d really like to play like that.

It must be really difficult to play and play clean having that problem in the right hand. So every lesson is mostly about "His Own" playing. He should talk more often about his right hand so more people with similar problem have available a good method for learning and playing guitar. He is not only a master on guitar playing but also in that particular way of playing !!! .
