  • I haven't got a major urge to visit anywhere in the US really. But New York... would love to! Decent style, nice architectureand I can imagine many interesting people.

  • While i was watchin i started realize how much our civilization is evolved we dont see it because we are in the midle of the inovations each days but if you look how much times it took in egypte to build a pyramid and how much time we build these wordless amazing constructions it is unthinkable. Go back in 1000 bc and show these pictures to caesar ... You got an idea ? You would first show this with a ipad/tablet/computer... Then lights ? Started the mankind in early 1900 ? Then just realize ho

  • @BennyJonesPhoto Thanks you! Finally; an English person with sense. I completely agree with your comment. London IS a beautiful city... but you cannot compare NYC and London, they are 2 very different layouts and ideas. I see London as the pinnacle of old-world cities, used for living AND business,+modernizing. NYC is the result of many pilgrimages and still to this day... a daily pilgrimage for millions of workers. Basically, the first "skyscraper" city along with Chicago.

  • I'd always thought that he never put on airs. It turns out that he comes from downtown of New York. That makes me feel even closer to him.

  • @xme71 nope, if your taking about New York state then definitely no. Lots of people in NYC live in apartments especially in manhattan but if you live in the 4 other boroughs of NYC your more likely not to live in an apartment

  • @petemac96 You said that "If you live in the other four boroughs of NYC you're more likely not to live in an apartment"? That's not true. The other four boroughs of NYC are The Bronx, Staten Island, Queens and Brooklyn, and these areas are infested with apartments. I've lived in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and currently in The Bronx. Apartments are everywhere. Only upstate there are more houses, but even then there are apartments, just like NYC has some houses. Born in raised in NYC 37 years!

  • Do all New Yorkahs live in appartments?

  • @xme71 Not really, haha! Some live in high-rise condos. Some live in brownstone houses.

  • @SkylinesHD Well a high-rise condo is a form of an apartment. But yes, some of us live in brownstone houses, so you're right.

  • @xme71 Petemac96 has misinformed you. He said that " if you live in the 4 other boroughs of NYC your more likely not to live in an apartment" and this isn't true. I was born here and lived here my whole life and I'm telling you, ALL 5 boroughs have apartments, not just Manhattan. We live in all 5 boroughs. Manhattan has apartments but also most work, shopping, and entertainment. Practically 90% of folks here in NYC live in apartments. Only a handful of houses are found within the 5 boroughs.

  • Okay really, I'm from Chicago Illinois, and Hands down New York is the most Original City in the United States. I think its best. Then Chicago :P

  • @BoyChibi WOW!. THANK YOU!. FINALLY!. SOMEBODY ELSE FROM CHICAGO ADMITTING THAT NEW YORK CITY IS MORE ORIGINAL THAN CHICAGO!. BLESS YOU!.

  • @TLJAWSIMIB well hey, everything stars in newyork, its the first thing i picture when I hear " America" but I do love my City of Chicago which comes second RIGHT after ;P

  • @BoyChibi COOL!. THANK YOU!. DID YOU KNOW THAT OUR BEEKMAN PLACE TOWER IS TALLER THAN YOUR AQUA TOWER!?.

  • Boring Place been their 5 times 4 more then i wanted to couldin"t wait to get the hell out.

  • @BennyJonesPhoto I am from New York, and Trust me, London is the best city in the world!! NY is a shithole! it is a dirty and dangerous place to live! London is beautiful, interesting, and the parties, clubs, bars, pubs and nightlife is much better in London

  • @imaposhtwat london is very dangerous too, and there are way to many cops in London, Boston is a great city

  • @imaposhtwat Sounds like other than the nightlife and the bars / pubs, London doesn't have much going for it....and I actually wanted to visit one day.

  • @Witchy1976 Are you fucking serious?? "London does not have much going for it??" London has the same accolades as NYC, but exceeds Ny in most respects! London's nightlife/party scene is much better, London's historic architecture is much more beautiful than NY's, London has more green open spaces, is cleaner, more luxurious, London is financial capital, NOT NY! I could go on for ever...London is a much nicer place to live! I lived in both! Turns out London has much more going for it than NY

  • @Witchy1976 London is safer by murder rate, London is the luxury property and luxury goods capital, It is within close proximity to Eu, not isolated like NY, London-Paris takes 2 hours on a train, London's transport system is MUCH better than the mta, London feels more buzzing, and londons shopping is much more classy and luxurious than 5th ave, And even the skyscraper London is building now look much better architecturally than NYs concrete boxes (London is in a skyscraper boom)

  • @Witchy1976 I cant believe you dude, you got me so angry at your ignorance, you made me put down my own fucking home city, just to prove to you there are other great cities out there...I can guarantee (By your ignorance and lack of knowledge/respect) that I have done more travelling than you, And NYC comes 3rd on my list, after London and Paris..."NYC is the center of the universe" - This is absolute bullshit dude

  • @imaposhtwat Look, I'm not a dude...I'm a dude-ette, lol. Also, it's not that serious...it's just a matter of opinion. You have yours' and I have mine. I've actually always wanted to visit London but have since changed my mind. That may be something to look into if I decide to go for it. In the meantime, I have my opinion and you have yours'. It's not that serious, really. If I'm ignorant, then let me be that. I'm not hurting you, am I? I'm not calling you names so don't call me names, please.

  • @Witchy1976 I understand that it is a subjective matter, But im telling you, you should seriously visit London. If you love NY, you will love London they are so similar...Please visit here, it will open your eyes! You will love london and the uk, There is more to visit in London than any other city, it really is on level with new york.

You should do a joint London - Paris trip...Trust me dudeettte, I have lived in nyc and london, so i know you will be very satisfied with your trip :)

  • @imaposhtwat I had wanted to visit London before...I actually had considered moving there at one point, but I had to changed my mind on that, seeing how I haven never visited. I'm actually pretty fascinated with the haunted history there, you know, with the past royals and whatnot, and that's one reason why I had chose to visit before. But who knows? I just may come by and say "hey" to you...then you can treat me to a nice dinner, some drinks, some sight-seeing, shopping, LOL. But I may visit.

  • @Witchy1976 Sounds good to me LOL, I actually have a strong desire to move to the San Francisco bay area - Love the place and the people <3

  • @imaposhtwat You too? I was considering moving there until I could move outwards from the states. I wanted to do San Francisco, Seattle or Chicago. If not, then Canada (Vancouver and Toronto) sounds pretty good to me too as a next step, since we share a border through Niagara Falls...but you've gotta work your way there or get sponsored. But trying so many different places is what I'm interested in. London is still on my list. I love the rich royal history of it all. So many places to see.

  • @imaposhtwat And why do people even argue which city is best? there both great cities, just cause someone says one is better it doesnt actually mean it is better its just there opinion. Some people will like London more Some will like New York. A lot of people dont like either of the cities they would rather live in a cheaper city where thay can live in a house.

  • @welderman9429380 I agree that London and New York are both great cities :)

  • @imaposhtwat No you live in the Bronx. The Bronx is so fucking ghetto and gross BK and Manhattan and even queens are nice, way way way nicer than the bronx

  • @scsunsfan I don't live in the Bronx, I live in Bronxville, which (If you did a little research before making ignorant remarks) You would see that Bronxville is an very affluent, upper-class town upstate...The only thing Bronxville and the Bronx have in common is the name - Fucking idiot.

  • Brussels.

  • @karezza6 lol Sureeeee, ,,,,

  • NYC is old and needs to look modern like Tokyo.

  • @Zeldalover12100 lol what a stupid comment. if anything Tokyo copies nyc.

  • @Aloves0strong Thank you!

  • @Zeldalover12100 tokyo no atmosphere

  • @Zeldalover12100 Shut the fuck up weaboo!!!

  • My nickname says it all I Luv NY Forever

  • LOL, this video is basically showing "Tourist MANHATTAN"...............NYC is much more than simply the tourist town of Manhattan. LOL......visit the real NYC and you won't wanna come back here in your life. Trust me.

Manhattan is simply for the doe-eyed tourists walking around in a haze with a stupid gormless look on their faces............IF ONLY THEY KNEW ;)

  • @AssSprinkle With a name like AssSprinkle... you must be very cultured... BTW: Mahhattan is much more than a "tourist" area... let alone a "tourist town"... Let's not forget where all the money and big business is in America. Manhattan is the home of the city's richest, the country's best museums, headquarters for a myriad of companies/corporations, publishers, artists, chefs, celebs... get your head out of your ass.

  • @admx94 Your answer and attempted "proofs" that you come with clearly show that it is YOU who has their head up their own ass. NYC is MUCH more than Manhattan. But socially stuck up people like yourselves cannot see that.

Enjoy your museums and the company of the "richest" LOL.

  • @admx94 LOOOOOL XD

  • @admx94 you're my fucking hero!

  • @Witchy1976 Haha, thanks! It's so annoying seeing people spam literally EVERY video on YouTube. NYC is in a league of its own... and they won't understand that until they've experienced it for themselves. Or even just a quarter of it for that matter.... I mean, I've lived in NJ my entire life... and know a good bit of Manhattan, but not even close to knowing even half of it... and that's just ONE borough.... and state...

  • @admx94 Tell me about it! NYC has so much going for it, it's not even funny. No other city can compare to NYC, mainly because this is THE hub, this where Sinatra once sung about, where the two hottest names in music saluted(Jay-Z and Alicia Keyes) and where everyone had to come when they first entered this country, and that's just the tip. We are so rich with history and so much character, that really, other cities might be nice, but they don't, no, I'm sorry,...they can't compare! Tell 'em!

  • @Witchy1976 Yeah, I really get a kick when people say NYC's architecture is a "bunch of ugly blocks from the 70s" ... THEY'VE never actually been inside the city if they say that... and sure SOME parts are a tad dirty.... but It's actually VERY clean for having an avrg. 27,532 people for every sq. mile... All it takes to change a person's feeling about NYC... is to stand in Liberty St. Park in NJ... and have them look at the tip of Manhattan. The Battery ALONE, is indescribable.

  • @admx94 Anyone who can open their eyes can take a gander at this city and notice it for the gem it really is. The architecture is outstanding, given the fact that so many of the city's buildings are designed in so many different eras. Harlem and lower Manhattan have more than a handful of Victorian buildings, as their tops or trimming are styled in Victorian. Others are Edwardian and Elizabethan. The brownstones have a classic look, and can be identified quickly.

  • @admx94 Then let's get on to what you've said about the cleanliness of the streets. Well you know what? Hey, you're right! There's gonna be a few spots here and there that aren't that great...all places have these areas, the city is no different, but we could have a more problematic city than we do now. Yeah, we could stand to clean it up a bit more, with the subways being riddled with rats and some streets, but I'd hardly call the city a dump! The city has much more to offer than buildings too.

  • @Witchy1976, thanks for the info. here in cali L.A.- it's everything, homes, apartments.

  • @xme71 No problem at all :)

  • @xme71 Yeah, I know California has mostly homes but you guys have some apartments as well. But are these usually found in complexes or are the apartments found in other places too? Because here in NYC we have apartment complexes but we also have apartments built inside of houses (such as basement apartments, where someone took a basement in a brownstone or a house and converted into an apartment, etc), and just regular apartment buildings.

  • @Witchy1976, no, no theirs no basements. Not one house has a basement/ earth quakes. Theirs apartments. they all range mostly from 2 to 3 floors. once you get to central los angeles you see 5 to7 to 15 story apartment sweets. theirs many houses, go google earth. central La central Long Beach, and santa monica, every central part of our citys tend have high rises. but thats it

  • @xme71 You know,I somewhat figured there wouldn't be any basements because of the earthquakes and all, but I do know that you guys have some apartments too, lol.I was thinking of trying to get out there at some point. I mean, I love New York, but I also love San Francisco's architecture as well, with the colorful Victorian houses and all...that and the things to do. Visiting the pier and getting some sweets from Ghirardelli sounds good to me ;)

  • Some sweets, I never thought of going to the pier eating chocolate, next time. About a month ago we went to the pier eating nothing, after strolling and looking at the sparkling light s that fair cast on the shore we then ate french fries and burgers. Walking at midnight through a pier makes you fall in love with the mademoiselle. 8)

  • @Witchy1976

No other city can "compare" to NYC? What do you mean? Have you been to Tokyo? Tokyo is like 5 times bigger than NYC. There are many cities bigger, more beautiful, more cultured etc than NYC, you have to travel more.

  • @Witchy1976 "No other city can compare to NYC" What a ignorant comment...I was born and raised in NYC, and I have been to many cities that compare...I am a proud New yorker, but I think London is the best city in the world, not new york.

Dude I fucking hate it when people say "No city can compare to this" So ignorant...London and New York are both on the same scale, London feels more like 'the center of the earth' as It is within close proximity to beautiful europe.

  • @imaposhtwat You can live better in any mid sized city in a nice house than in these huge cities. But i still love New York because of the diversity and just the feel i get from it thats why i moved here. I traded my Large house for a small apartment.

  • @admx94

Well Tokyo is 5 times bigger than NYC, how is NYC in a league of it's own? BTW, I was born and raised in NYC and worked in Tokyo for 5 years.

  • I'm person 50,000 :)

  • the only places i would visit in this world is cali ,florida and my home Belaerus, russia <3 :)

  • Wait-- where are the twin towers?

  • @PalmTreeCloud Are you being foolish right now? Or completely mean? What do you think happened to them? Google it, but don't ask a dumb-ass question like this again!

  • N.Y.C. is cool but i don't think it'sould be considered a better place than LOS ANGELES... just doesn't seem bigger to me. here's why 1. L.A. is 100 times more spread out than N.Y.C. 2. it doesn't even come close to all the traffic & tourists attractions like L.A. 3. L.A. is the capital of entertainment & has mostly all the celebrities in the world 4. L.A. seems like a way more powerful city than N.Y.C. 5. all the buildings in N.Y.C. look old. looks like a bunch of lego's

  • @1skylinedreamz You're an idiot... Seems fitting since you're from California. Los Angeles is NOTHING like NYC. Maybe you should visit sometime because you obviously know nothing about it and it's architectural history.

  • @admx94 UHHH i have been to N.Y.C. im a photographer and i go all around the world to take photos of diffrent cities. also i don't live in california. i just think L.A. looks alot more interesting than N.Y.C. also what makes N.Y.C. diffrent from other cities like L.A.? there's nothing diffrent has the same comparison to L.A. or chicago..

  • @1skylinedreamz you could compare LA to London... but neither to NYC. You could maybe get away with comparing NYC and Chicago... but even then, NYC dwarfs Chi-town. end of story... done... kaput.

  • @admx94 You can easily compare London to NYC, They are both the largest financial centers, have roughly 8 million people, and are roughly the same size...NYC is not at all better than London, and London is no better than NY.

They are very similar cities, that can be easily compared.

  • @1skylinedreamz NYC is much better than LA, LA is awful, although the surrounding areas in SoCal are amazing. I have always wanted to retire to California, just not LA, LA is horrible.

  • iv been to nyc i live right near it and it smells so bad

  • @andrewleedoggmail NO IT DOESN'T AT ALL!.

  • NY IS NICE TO VISIT, BUT NOT TO LIVE!

  • @annaluvs90210 WHAT MAKES YOU SAY THAT NEW YORK CITY IS A HORRIBLE CITY TO LIVE!?.

  • @annaluvs90210 I HAVE LIVED THERE, TOO!!!. AND, TRUST ME, I LOVE LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY THE BEST EVER!!!. YA DIG!?.

  • @TLJAWSIMIB neva! ya i use to dig it when i was durring my childhood..n now im bored of it.. dela with it the city " that nvr spees" CAN KISS MY ASS!

  • @annaluvs90210 WOULD YOU VISIT THERE AGAIN!?. THOUGH!?. SERIOUSLY!!!!!.

  • Love Love Love <3<3<3 I Really want to visit to NY : X <3

  • i wanna live here when im older :) :3

  • WHO CAN SAVE NEW YORK FROM BOREDOM?

  • NYC has WAY too many buildings

  • @jgarcia6859 YEAH SO!. WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM!?. THAT'S WHAT NEW YORK CITY IS KNOWN FOR!!!!. SERIOUSLY!!!!!.

  • call me a hater or whatever that you may, but I do hate you guys New Yorkers (if that's how you call yourselves) for living in such a beautiful, capitvating and vibrant city!!! I envy you all!!

New York will never fall, she has stood back up onto her feet after the tragic incident that took place 10 years ago, and nothing can stop her from growing like a giant!

    BEST FREAKING CITY EVER!!!

  • @Meo0403 WHO CAN SAVE NEW YORK FROM BOREDOM?

  • luckily i do live in NYC

  • what editor is thiss?

  • That's just manhattan LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @Tommy4216 The entire city, Manhattan is just one of the five boroughs. The five boroughs are The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Manhattan. All of them together make NYC.

  • @CHNJ101 thats so extra u know u didnt really have 2 say that

  • @waveysoap Hey it's me I'm extra.

  • Chi Town is coo, but please...don't ever compare Chicago's skyline with NYC.

  • @SirIsaacBacon WHY!?.

  • Ok here's the truth about New York, if ur city is crap u'll luv NYC. It depends on what ur City has. I been to London & Tokyo. To be honest as far as nightlife, I like Tokyo for that, sumthing to do everynight. London is beautiful for best lots of day scenery. Out of all of them I love Tokyo the most. Many things to do, everychanging.

New york is stressful & makes u want 2 kill sumbody lol. Dont let manhattan fool u. Sometimes I feel lucky because so many people are jealous tho. lol.

  • @Macmittens411 I HATE NY. IM TIRED OF IT

  • Chicago was the beginning of skyscrapers!

Chicago is way better then any city in the US including New York

  • I can't wait till the new World Trade Center complex is finished in a few years. I think it'll bring the skyline up to par with Chicago again, which is my opinion has the best skyline right now.

  • @carlsm95 Totally agreed!

  • @jahnsmikey i strongly disagree. you need to explain how new york beats those cities

  • Listen to "Big City Lights" by an artist called Shin02 while watching this. Bet you won't be disappointed :)

  • Most of beautiful city in the world !

  • Without the World Trade Centers, the city insn't that, what it was before the 11th September 2001. Maybe I and my famili will go there. But thats gonna be a long flight!!!

  • I love how all the pictures are just Manhatten. Where the heck is Brooklyn,Queens,Bronx, and Staten Island?

  • @Kenny3821 exactly, most people think nyc is just manhatten, there wrong...

  • @quez76 Yep ;)

  • Chicago>New York

  • @RNO96 New York is way better that Chicago.

  • This is not the city of today. It is the city of the past, and is becoming the city of the future

  • two of NYC's highrises destroyed only 5,538 to go, praise allah!!!

  • Im from chicago, I realized nyc buildings are relatively the same size. Chicago has smaller buildings but more supertalls

  • NEW YORK CITY has a beast of a skyline!.

  • @TLJAWSIMIB no dude Chicago has the best skyline

but Nyc is capital of the world

  • @donzaliko Podunk KT has the best skyline.
