My grandma had one of these that she put in one of her bathrooms. We decorated it during summer 2002 with mermaids--she would get plain Barbie dolls from thrift stores and send them to orphanages in Russia and Ukraine, but she had so many that we decided to get saran wrap and make about 8-10 into mermaids, which she put up on a big piece of fishnet spraypainted blue and hung on the wall. She had this doll on the vanity near the sink...i miss you so much Grandma Deolinda Sholar...RIP 1923-2007 <3

This toy brings back such fond memories. I LOVED this doll and can still here the song she sang. It's funny how childhood memories can bring back such joy! I also had the PJ Sparkles doll...lol

On a serious note, this doll. Oh, my God. This doll. My little six-year-old heart exploded the moment I saw the box peeking out from under the wrapping paper.

Then my little sister ruined the magic by cutting off all of her gorgeous locks.

Haha, I remember getting this for Christmas when I was 3 or 4. My mom hated me that morning because as soon as I opened her, all I wanted to do was get in the tub and play. I begged my mom for what seemed like hours until she finally popped in the batteries and started my bath. I found her 5 years or so back, when I was moving out of my childhood home, and she's in storage now along with a PJ sparkles doll and Magic nursery baby.
