I played this while looking up at a completely clear sky in my backyard, at night. The stars seemed to pulse and shimmer in tune to the song, and then the song made me feel an intense sadness that the stars also seemed to feel... I felt like I was one with them that night, It was a really weird.

There's an animated movie called Tales of the Past, done in a video game called World of Warcraft, and the director is a genius. He made the story compelling and everything, but that couldn't have been accomplished if he hadn't got the go to use Hans Zimmers brilliant music. I <3 Tales of the Past, and I <3 Hans Zimmer. This is pure brilliance :)

After battle, when Maximus is looking over his horse and eating an apple, snow falling gently, and Commodus is practicing swordplay in th background, then when he's talking /Lucilla/praying to his ancestors, then when Lucilla visits him in his gladiatorial cell for the last time.
