Also, Pontypool is a great movie. I saw it at SXSW in Austin on a whim, and I'm glad that I decided to check it out. Great dialog-driven horror film.

Crap! I really wanted to go 3 for 3 on the zombie socks movies, but you really threw me off following up Planet of the Apes and 12 Monkeys with something like "Bring it On". I knew I had heard those lines before, but I had to google it (cheating I guess). The sad thing is I own Bring it On, but don't think the dialog is the biggest attraction.

The Australian zombie flick? Yes. I wasn't a very big fan of it. I mean, I love what they did with the budget they had, and did enjoy some of the stuff...but I'll take Dead Alive or Shaun of the Dead over it as far as zombie comedies go.

I actually saw this in a theatre for it's limited theatrical release (in a grindhouse theatre I might add). My friend's dad went to film school with the director.

I thought it was fantastic! Very reminiscent of the original Night Of The Living Dead, in the sense that you never really see whats going on outside of the radio station. You only hear what is happening through reports. Very eerie, especially where the guy (from the "Sunshine Chopper") is in the barn watching the teenager squeak. Very creepy, very well thought out, and very entertaining.

But that thing after the credits... ? lol
