combos are just basically when you are put on the spot to perform them, that you have them practiced already so you wont fuck them up when it comes time to use them. it also builds confidence overall as well as how to be patient.

still good video, I don't think anyone can pull off those crazy combos in a real fight anyways. I think Lag might have something to do with it too. Also hes playing against someone pretty good so its not like he has many chances to do the 20 hit combos. I think for online play, safe combos tend to work better rather than high risk. whiff against any good player and they will punish you for it.
overall lag in general prevents this game from being played. good player or not, you cannot punish moves online the same way you can offline. and you nailed it about the attacks whiffing. this doesnt happen offline either.
these matches are just for fun. theyre online, you cant expect much from it. it is what it is.
the rage exploits are highly situational, but youre right. those type of combos dont even cross my mind while playing. its just do what you can when you can do it
yea i remember that match man. i had no idea the timer was that low. whenever i play offline i play with the timer off, thats how it should be imo. but yea, one thing about this game is the matches are always close as long as its not a lopsided matchup.

doing "awesome combos" on practice mode is not the same as 1on1 fighting. there's a ton of strategy and planning you have to take into consideration.
