You can either keep it on water or if you want place it where it routenely floods (you can buy that land cheap) and when it floods your home will rise with the water. i like it. i builded a pallet house in my back yard. and its very usefull, isolated and we got a good music installation. i spend just a few hundred euros on it.just becarefull with wood and water on the ground..
Sure as hell beats freezing in the park if I ever were homeless again (HL) I would build one of these and use a bike with a small motor to get around on. Many HL are so cause they are mentally ill they lack the ability to construct a basic structure like this. Great idea for a hooch in the woods if you want to build on land you don't have permission and don't want to loose a lot of money or materials when they destroy your hooch.

I think in our area you would have to have the skids off the ground for several reasons like snakes and rot. But, I know there are several signs using 4x4 posts put in by now defunked businesses. So, you could use those signs to elevate the foundation. Just a thought.
dude! i made a fort in the woods SO SIMILAR!!!! but the way i did it was i dug a huge ass hole about the size of my room, aproximently 6 feet deep, we put pallets for the floors, ply wood for the walls that were lined with cardboard and news paper for insilation, after words we secured a tarp over it. we were also going to find a generator, and try to put a tv in there and some lights, but it wasnt long after that the cops found it and tore everything down (private property) lol

Great idea for a hooch in the woods if you want to build on land you don't have permission and don't want to loose a lot of money or materials when they destroy your hooch.

I think in our area you would have to have the skids off the ground for several reasons like snakes and rot. But, I know there are several signs using 4x4 posts put in by now defunked businesses. So, you could use those signs to elevate the foundation. Just a thought.

dude! i made a fort in the woods SO SIMILAR!!!! but the way i did it was i dug a huge ass hole about the size of my room, aproximently 6 feet deep, we put pallets for the floors, ply wood for the walls that were lined with cardboard and news paper for insilation, after words we secured a tarp over it. we were also going to find a generator, and try to put a tv in there and some lights, but it wasnt long after that the cops found it and tore everything down (private property) lol
