@ConstantCrisis Not only is it offensive, but it's not even based on the truth. Gay soldiers are just as strong, brave, and dignified as the straight soldiers. They risk their lives in battle, and only to be treated like sissies.

It seems as if many straight guys feel insecure about gays fighting in battles because these straight guys would be scared to do the same. So they come up with nonsense like this to relieve themselves of that insecurity.

As a gay man, I found this piece absolutely HYSTERICAL. Denny Johnston is funny as hell to me.

Of course, not all gay men are feminine; I'm certainly not, and neither is my boyfriend and many of our other gay friends.

However, some gay men ARE feminine, and we're proud of our flaming queens. They usually keep us in stitches just by being who they are. I think Denny did a great job of capturing how funny they can be without being offensive.
