I love this ending it just brings it altogether (thats why im not sure they should do a Saw 8 its gonna ruin it) Dr Gordon, was the only one who played by the rules of 'the game' he only wanted to survive where as the others done it for an act of revenge mostly.

This is just stupid. Saw 1 was pretty decent but these kinds of twists became more and more forced and contrived with each Saw film that came out. Now every minor side-character has to have a plot-altering story that is only revealed (read: badly retconned) later in the series.

Strange... how come Hoffman doesn't have a scar on the right side of his mouth? He cut that side of his face to get out of the reverse bear trap at the end of Saw 6. How could the wound have healed that quickly?

Sealing someone in a bathroom to die is a useless way to end the series - Gordon and Matthews both managed to get out despite being shackled to a pipe, and Matthews did so without the use of a hacksaw. After all that, we're expected to beleve that Hoffman is sure to die?

If there is a Saw 8, I can only make one suggestion as to what can be done. Detective Hoffman calls up Bobby Dagen and tells him where he is. Dagen sees the power saw, opens the door to the bathroom, and helps Hoffman saw off his leg. Then, after he gets a foot replacement at the hospital, Hoffman asks Dagen to help him seek out Dr. Gordon while Gordon himself sets up a new batch of victims to be tested.

I didn't want to put out any spoilers, but you leave me no choice. Dr. Gordon tested the man in the Venus Fly Trap mask in Saw 2. The voice on the tape said "Notice I have put you on the table. But don't worry, you can't feel anything because you are sound asleep." Gordon also tested the guys in the Mosoleum Trap, that is why the scene above showed him surgically stitching the bald guy's eye shut.

I'm gonna go with Daniel Matthews, Bobby Dagen or Simone. Simone claimed to have no appreciation for life after her test yet for some reason still attends the Support Group. Suspicious no? Daniel and Bobby's fates were both unmentioned after their tests, so are presumably still alive Daniel spent a lot of time in his test with Amanda (also an apprentice of Jigsaw at this time) so she could easily hae converted him.

I like the part when Dr Gordon says ''I don't think so.'' then throws away the hacksaw. Then when he turns off the lights & then says ''GAME OVER'' & closes the door. That was such an awesome way to end the film. To find out that Gordon was alive & worked with Jigsaw the whole time. It was such an awesome film & a great way to end it. When I saw it in the cinema everyone cheered once the end credits roled. This film was AWESOME!!! =D
