I don't like the effects - people want they OS to be "cool", but don't they realize how cheap all theese sparks and fires look? Besides that, it is quite inconvenient... Some effects are nice, but many of them are going overboard pretty much.
It took me a while and lots of scripting, Tutorial will take hours on youtube, so maybe I might end up make it into a distro so people can just download it.

look into the usb option Go to ubuntu home page ; then download link and follow the windows platform link . Zorin is ubuntu , so that should help you. If you all else fail, then you need to chroot to get all the files from the iso onto a hard drive. That option is very technical, but doable.
@joesa4717 Okay, I was confused. Because the panel looks like LXDE. The menu and Desktop Folder look like KDE and it also has Oxygen icon themes(with Plasmoids/Gadgets) and Gnome Logo on Menu.
I LOVE this OS! As a matter of fact, Ubuntu 11.04 ran like crap and was very sluggish... I tried Zorin OS without finding out that it was built on Ubuntu 11.04, and it's SO much smoother, faster, and better overall!! :) I'm not going back to Windows either (Unless Wine doesn't cooperate)
@joesa4717 Thank you for your response! I was wondering if I could have the Azenis theme only for my screenlets, but I can't seem to find a way how to do it, beacuse I don't want the full desktop theme.
type azenis theme in google search and click first link. scroll down select and download "screelets". Extract it to the .screenlets folder in your home directory. Thus open nautilus and hold Ctrl + H to list hidden files. Note there is a period(.) before screenlets. Now right-click on any screenlets and refresh , then right-click on clock or weather or any screenlet that Azenis provides a theme for and select "Azenis" from themes section
I just installed zorin os on my pc as a dual boot with windows 7 but on my windows 7 I have some gadgets to monitor my gpu and cpu can you tell me how to install those on zorin os 5 I see you have some gadgets on your desktop like the clock and weather how did you install them I am a total noob to linux if you can help me it will be great :)
This OS is no different from ubuntu . It is a branded Ubuntu with prettier icons and layout. No the animated wallpapers I have to integrate myself. It is called Anibg . Just type that in google like so "Anibg" first link or whatever link that refers to the "google code " website, is what you need. Download and read the read me files.
I have not tried a native Mac OS X theme on Ubuntu or Zorin. But since this distro is Ubuntu based you can make it look exactly, I mean exactly like Mac OS X by using Macbuntu. Just google Macbuntu and it will probably be the first in your search result (make sure it is the sourceforge site) and just download and follow the installation instruction. By the time you reboot, you will be looking at a Mac look-alike OS. You need to "chmod +x" on the file, and "./the_macbuntu_file"
This is an old Dell D620 laptop with the following:
Specs: Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2500 @ 2.00GHz dual processor Memory is 3 GB
Everything else is already pre-configure. The animated background uses anibg and the desktop icons are screenlets. MythTV frontend is streaming from my MythTV backend server, which is an entirely different tutorial.
If I get enough request, I will find the time to make a tutorial from beginning to end with audio.
is this a link for downloading Zorin 5.2 ultimate?

Is there a way to install a Mac OS X theme on Zorin OS 5 Core? I hate having to pay 10 euros just for that. Otherwise I will keep the default view.

make your own version with this link (upubuntu . com/2011/06/turn-ubuntu-1104-to-mac-os-x-with.html)

In google search type this " Turn Ubuntu 11.04 to Mac OS X With Macbuntu " and click the link, then follow the instructions
