@FunnyMinority Its the kinda coaching and tactics they follow, they aim to get off with a great start, hoping to have one or two lengths on their opponents and use the psychological advantage to hold the lead, obviously, it doesnt always work :P

Tomkins is a little old/retired to take on NZL at this point, but the Ginn+Free pair, that could bring some serious excitment to the mens pair these days.

Yes. 1:26 split. I've heard that Aussies weren't such an animals on ergo. Tomkins went 1:32 on 2K 2 years ago.. maybe he was little bit stronger in Athens but I doubt it. They were winning because of their great technique.
