hey Phil when performing the one arm kb clean and u choose to do 8-10 reps are you always surpose to bring the kb back to the ground (the starting position) ? Cause I seen that in the two demenstration u performed.
@MultiTrollHunter kettlebells are for people who want to work on explosive power and who aren't afraid to put some variation in their routine. Enjoy your bicep curls, bruh.
Thank you so very much for giving the advice to keep the bell loose in the hand. This, i can attest, has made all the difference in me banging my forearm and wrist. I can't tell you how many videos, many of which I own, have failed to explain this very important point. I'm talking about KB heavyweights like Anthony Diluglio and Steve Cotter, both of whom I admire. Thanks again.
Keep the bell loose in your hand. if not, you are not allowing the bell to move freely around your forearm. It's a ballistic movement, from the ground up. if you are attempting to press from the clean, then you grip the bell tight, that's a grind, more tension the better
Ok. I tried your way with keeping a loose grip during the clean and no more forearm pain. LOL
I have another question though. If I keep a loose grip during the clean and I want to press it. When should I tighten the frip? ShouldI clean it loose grip then when i am in the rack position tighten the grip and press it?
I bought a used 35 LB Kettlebell in August because I have very wear wrists and a weak grip!
nice i was banging my forearms hard

Yes, all your power you generate comes from the hips. The hip snap is the same in the swing, clean and snatch.

great videos, I love all your instruction videos.
question: do we still use the hip snap for the clean as in the swing movement?

Kettlebells are for fags who are too scared to pump iron with the big boys
