It was too painful a scene to watch. Human race has devolved to such lows in the last century. The movie depicts the inhumane practice of female infanticide in a shocking way though i doubt how many people would really change after watching this movie. The best part of the movie is the climax , in which every1 meets their karmic ends :)

It was too painful a scene to watch. Human race has devolved to such lows in the last century. The movie depicts the inhumane practice of female infanticide in a shocking way though i doubt how many people would really change after watching this movie. The best part of the movie is the climax , in which every1 meets their karmic ends :)

Are you crazy? It is surely not true. Breastfeeeding women are treaten normally by everybody here. I just don't know where you took such "information" from. Women here are lots more well treatened than in India. In all moments of her life. From the moment of her birth till death. Even if she is a widow. We believe about sexual equality.

Eduardo, women in Brazil earn on average 30% LESS than men. Health status of white women is far better than that of black women. Due to growing problems of domestic abuse/violence on women, u guys made "special women police stations".

Indeed, women suffer such discrimination also in Europe and USA. But we BELIEVE about equality. The fact that there are special police stations for women only comproves that our society fights against violence. India maybe needs some of these.
You're blending false and true informations. Anyway, parents don't make difference between sons and daughters. And there is no prejudice against pregnancy or breastfeeding, it's ridiculous.

In reality the condition isn't as bad as depicted. Just exaggerated to make an impact.
We do believe in equality. But it is hard to change people's mindset(both genders). There is still some preference for male child mostly among less educated. But, things r changing slowly and steadily.
In last 30 years, a lot has changed. When countries like US are still have a women in the top position, we already have one women president and a Prime minister(one of the strongest, we ever had).

Just have things in perspective. This movie is about when there are almost no women. The idea is, after watching that scene, no one will ever think of even aborting a female child in favor of male. :)
