i remember at a gig at the Edinburgh Venue..they did a version of Sweet Child of Mine............in this style..........with somebody doing the lyrics death metal style....fukin excellent. j mascis was so baked.....i asked him what he thot of the gig.... i think he is still thinkin about it
@bumblescum64 I think it's been consigned to the history books. I'd also like to get a DVD but the best we can do is search for clips on here. There are quite a few, though.
I remember seeing this on some UK indie music show (I think the video was filmed in the UK) years back, although the quality was miles better and they used the album version on the video. This looks and sounds rough as fuck!
so i bought this new remastered version of bug (i think it's remastered, anyways, it's definitly a re-release) that has a video for freak scene, but looks diferent from this one. i mean it does have some parts of this video, and the music is obviously diferent, but the video is completly diferent.
@Germanjorge Back at the time, this wasn't an official video. It was made for a TV programme so I guess that later on, someone made another video using some parts of this.
@Germanjorge theres few versions of this video, as you see if you google it under videos by google....i only seen 2.. but have been told that there are more..this one and the one featuring a dude getting his head shaved is the other one i saw.
I've just spent the past hour listening to every different version of this song I can get my hands on, and this is probably tied with the version from 'The Year Punk Broke' as the best.
jesus, this guy can really play, i'm qyite new to them(10yrs or so) to them but love the band-the original J, Lou & Murph, unbeatable, but problems man...fuck that!
I guess they don't own the rights to them, only certain releases. They must have a huge database linked to YouTube as if they own the rights, they'll find out in less than an hour.
As if we're making any money out of such old songs...

grr. i made a few lyric videos for Farm and Without a Sound and there was no problem but Start Choppin' from Where You Been was disabled by WMG!

Yeah, WMG are control hungry assholes.
OnionTerror2007 2 years ago
but why didn't they catch songs from Without A Sound and Farm?

ya especially a band like Dinosaur Jr. We're doing them a favour by promoting their great music.
g3og13 2 years ago
That's what you'd think but when megalomania sets in, it's all about them and their control.

where can we see the original?
Mooktopia 2 years ago
See the original? This is the original video but I had to change the sound. Others versions on here have bad sound quality versions.
