  • the silver pedal is the new version and a lot better than the old one XD!

  • It would be nice if your sg had the original pickups.

  • @figaz555 They were crap. They used to squeal like stuck pigs at any hint of high volume. I threw them out. Few pickups in this world can meet Brierley standards so I'd be mad not to change them. Try it. You'll like it. :)

  • There's a new version? That's nice. I tried this one a few times before on a Peavey 6505. Through the clean channel, it could NEVER overdrive enough to play metal. The sound was just baaaad.... through the overdriven channel everything just got extremely muddy and chaotic and it sounded really really bad.

  • nice cover man als always cool pedal greetz from the nederlands

  • nice pedal man and good cover as always. greetz from halland the the nederlands

  • not diggin' this much at all

  • whats with the screaming in the background

  • Bloody Mary, horror, post production indulgence...

  • @Burgerman666 lol nice one xD

  • @Burgerman666 Not buying it. I think you tortured (and later killed) the guy that made this pedal so only you could have it. It's more logical.

  • @Botdra Lol. And then I sold it.

  • @Burgerman666 Good man! Too much high-end fuzz for me. What high-gain box do you prefer? I use the Metal Muff but wanted to know your take on them.

  • @Botdra Can't go past the Triple Wreck, IMO. I haven't tried the Metal Muff but I hear it's pretty cool, too. :)

  • Guys, listen up!

I am not sure whether I've demoed the latest version of this pedal. I say this because all of the photos on the T-Rex site are of a black pedal, not the silver version I have here.

So, the new version may be different. I'll find out from T-Rex in a day or so whether I've mucked up and if another video needs to be shot. Thanks, BK.

  • thank you very much. With this pedal you just need to be careful with the eq settings, and a noise gate too I think.

  • I agree with DCS here, actually. Sounds like a starved voltage fuzz pedal. A bad one at that.

  • I like your great demo, as always. Too bad i can't say the same for this pedal...

  • Wow this thing sounds like a crate solid state practice amp with every tone control, gain and master volume dimed!! Not nesessarily a bad thing (for very specific recording applications)

  • i don't know this pedal sounds so cheap at the moment but in other demos it doesn't

  • Ouch, this thing has a horrible decay ..

  • Oh man, try and lead with something positive, please..?? Heheh. Michel, you're a hard man to please.

  • Ha, I just feel what I feel, right? I make plenty of positive comments about pedals, right?

To me, this pedal has a very fuzzy and fizzy decay which sounds really .. weird? It's a matter of taste, always.

  • Yep. Fair enough. You speak loudly, for many, no doubt. ;) All good. Don't stop.

How's the weather over there, brother? Are you guys getting drenched, too?

  • I'm not planning on doing so, no .. ;)

And the weather here is very unstable. It's been nice since Friday evening but before that it has been WEEKS of rain and harsh winds!
