  • Congratulation Rahsaan! You use your talent with ease..elegant and classy.

  • i've been a fan of his since the 90's. his music is so smooth.

  • u might call him "sissy", but he aint no punk! he's a capricorn ....& a helluva vocalist/writer/producer!

  • Like I said. He's bad. Even sissys call themselves sissys

  • Love everything this cat does...

  • "Stay Awhile" is from the album "Rahsaan Patterson" with several other of his big hits "Come Over", "Where You Are", "Stop By". Love this album, love him. One of my favorite performers.

  • what album is this song from? was trying to find it...

  • You answered your question with your 2nd statement. Toooooo gay. He can sing his sissy ass off though.

  • @buttafinguz He's not too gay, he's himself. If folks want to label and can't deal, that's on them! I hope we can stop bring the comments back to his sexual orientation. I'm glad he's still making music. I look forward to every project he releases or every demo he might give us a taste of.The time's I've seen him perform he's always awesome and has been very nice in meeting people after the show and being appreciative to his fans.

  • @buttafinguz Thats ahow you give a compliment?? geez smh

  • I thought so, did not want to speculate, but you are right can sang his sissy ass off.. LOL

  • I love him. I believe he is from Atlanta. We have alot of talent here!! He's been out the closet for years now. What is wrong in music that these singers can't national attention....good grief. Love you Rasshan.

  • @Leah9272, Rahsaan is a native New York : )

  • follow @RahsaanPattFans

  • He sounds like dude from Mint Condition. Never even heard of him but ...Love his voice!!!

  • @muzikluher, he opened for Lalah Hathaway and Angie Stone in Detroit, after his act was over, he came out and sang backup for Lalah, his vocals are incredible, so friggn underrated, it's a really a shame...

  • ive seen him in DC, Cali, Detroit, and here in Houston, so unsung...

  • @englishmajor43 can't get enough can you? LOL! me either!!!!!

  • My Man!

  • I need this jam on my itouch. Legit!

  • DAAAM.. LUV U SO.

  • OH MY GOSH, just something about THIS song, We are one and Feels Good, that got me hooked on this guy.Loving the music!!:)

  • I love this song.......there are very, very, very few artist that I love comparably...very few

  • @muzikluher I used to hear that same BS about Prince and Tevin. When I lived in DC all those years everyone got excited when he came to town. As a matter of fact RP was the opening performer for Rachelle Farrell at the Warner Theater when I first saw him. WHUR always played his tunes. He has a beautiful and distinct vocal style. Don't nobody write him off . God ain't through with him yet.

  • @sputnik9453 that is the truth! RP is my favorite, his music is in constant rotation on my mp3 players!

  • @sputnik9453, there is no BS in being gay. That's who God has purposed him to be. I doubt if he were straight he would be such a passionate and octave soaring vocalist. The distinct thing about being gay is that we're more artistically creative. I am proud of him because, like Tonex, Ray Boltz and others, he is being true to himself and that makes him more respectful - Gays need role models too.

  • @Kumtekmeon Indeed. If you're not hurting anybody, others need to mind their business and let you live your life. I'm of the belief that the majority of gay people are born that way. I believe it is in their DNA, just like blue eyes, brown skin and/or the shape of their lips. I'd rather deal with a gay good person than a straight bad person any day, just as I'd rather deal with a good Atheist than a crooked Christian.

  • I dont know what the deal is with these record companies. The people want good music. I hate seeing artists perform live when they can't sing. Rahsaan P should be highly promoted. I want to see him in concert and I want to know when he has new music out. As a music lover I dont care how the person looks or what thier image is. I wanna feel something when I listen to thier music!!

  • @riggrunner45 He is so talented voaclly that I forget that he is gay because it really doesn't matter. He is so vastly underrated but he is true to himself and his music and I could listen to his music always. He is reminiscent of the real male R&B singer...Love songs, ballads, dance tunes...the whole 9. But dude is Gay!

  • He is the freaking TRUTH!!!!!! No question!!!!!

  • wooooooooooooooow lg minou

  • no need to be sorry, let's just enjoy the man & his music....

  • I love Rahsaan's music, he has a huge follwing in South Africa...whether gay or straight! he's extremely talented!

  • Wow, that's amazing. Way over in Africa.

Glad that you identify good music.

  • Chaka's true musical son. This song was originally written for her!

  • Are serious? That song was orginally written for her. That is one of my fav's from the album.

  • Yes!!! & his timbre is damn near like hers on this! his boyfriend Tevin Cambell caught the Chaka bug on "Back 2 The World"

    Chaka Luvs her some Rahsaan!!!

  • Rahsaan actually wrote the title track " Back To The World". Boyfriend.. I wouldn't go that far with that.. Good grief !!!

  • Just saw them in Atlanta. They Killed it!!!

  • I was there!! Yes, they did!!! He's awesome!!!

  • I bet they did! I haven't seen Rah since this show, I gotta get back out & get my dose of goodness!!
