need to be careful with duct tape, electrical is better as u can put more on and it doesnt leave the skin stretched and marked underneath.the best solution is to buysome dampening rings like DW kits come with.awesome aound and no damage to the skin.nice solo btw, like the cymbals
its me again...just thought id answer sum of these peoples questions. For any1 who wants to know what type of cymbals hes using, just go to his site that he give in the beggining of his video. Also, sum1 asked about the tappe he puts on his floor tom, the reason for that is to muffle the soud. putting tape on the tops of toms often takes out the ringing noise u hear. Same thing for his heads, if u want to know wat kind they are, just go to his site, iv been there, its pretty koo.

yea thats pretty nice...i also have Zildjain A customs and i love them. Sum1 asked how to fet that sound from your snare, my advise is to tighten your snare pretty tight, you get that sound wen u tune your snare heads very tight.
Your right to get a good tone out of the snare such as that you should tighten the snare head. BUT
To be hnest, i havent even tightened up the snare in the video. Its a pork pie, and i have a long ways to go to tune it tight. I was really surprised of the sound i got even with not tunning it tight.
Hey man I was wonderin if you could give me some adivce I got some new evans hydraulic gloss heads well the see-through ones but my rpoblem is I'm having a really hard time tuning my toms they alwas sound like BAAAAAUM you know out of tune like with a lot of overtones and I can't get them tuned help me out please man
Hey bro i sent you a message on tuning the toms step by step, but for anyone else out there wanting to know how to get the overtones out, just tone the bottom higher than the top...

But i make my snare sound like that cause i have a 3 inch snare and i have a remo CS snare head and it tightend up real good
If you dont have a small snare i sugest tighting up your snare almost as much as it goes and it will give it more pop
