Mr. Owens sings this song almost perfect. His voice is awesome, but he is not King Diamond. King Diamond has that creepy voice where Tim got a more powerful one. I prefer the King, his voice gives the song its right mood.

Haa haa KD fans always say King is the best in high pitch singing. Actually, including Rob Halford, all use falsetto. But Rob can sing a very strong yet crystal clear high pitches. I never like King's falsetto which are weak and too thin. To end the King vs. Rob Halford arguments, this vid is the best example. Those who can sing strong falsetto can beat King anyday. But those are not many. Maybe a handful of vocalists Rob, Ripper, Ralf (Primal Fear) etc..

I am a big fan of all three, but as King uses falsettoes all the time, it becomes annoying. on the other hand, Rob uses falsettoes when he wants to hit very high notes. And yes, that passage or transition from chest to head voice or head to falsettoes is used by rob and many other great vocalists. Rob has the cleanest yet strongest falsettoes I have ever heard. King is pale in comparison to Rob. People think King is untouchable, but ripper proved it was wrong.

I have to disagree with all of the people saying he can only do cover songs. Sure he started in a cover band, but was then good enough to replace Rob in JP.

His own band ( Beyond Fear ), his solo album, his work with Judas Priest ( non-cover work ), Yngwie Malmsteen, Iced Earth, and Charred Walls of the Damned certainly show that he can do originals equally as well as covers. Anyway, you certainly have your right to you own opinion, I just happen to have my own. Rock On.
