This movie is so sad.. War, no matter which nation involved, is such a senseless thing! I can't imagine what's in the mind of those young men - brazing themselves to face what's lie ahead in front of them! Fantastic actings from all, sadly there was not much recognition is given to this movie.

This film makes me cry even more because it reminds me of my cousin who died, because he also died when he was 18 ( although he was nearly 19 ) and he looked like daniel radcliffe , so it makes me think about him when i watch this.

Excelente la traducción, la acabo de ver en hbo, y el final no transmite lo mismo que este final, gracias por compartir, de cualquier manera no me pareció tan triste, (de hecho me entristecio mas el capítulo de futurama de simurdiera o seymour), por que al fin y al cabo es lo que jack y su padre querian, ir a la guerra, y la verdad que enfrentarse a una machinegun con solo seis hombres en campo abierto, no es precisamente una gran idea, es casi suicidio...
