Yes, I have seen a cat put one little scratch on a parrot and the parrot dies. Some don't have time to get it to a vet. The salvia and whatever runs through the claw, is very toxic.

cute video, but I would be careful. One bite or scratch from a cat can kill a parrot. Cat's saliva is toxic to a parrot and one scratch from a claw can rip parts open without us even knowing it.
