I first heard the song Everybody's Gone to War in 2006 when I was eleven. I fell in love with it and for Christmas that year I got her album Fires from my sister. That album has given me strength and hope for the last three years. I can be feeling at my lowest and contemplating stupid things, but as soon as I hear Idaho everything seems better.

This is one of Nerina's greatest songs in my view. However I don't feel the video helps the song very much. The song is one of such intense emotion, it has such a feeling of freedom and release. That's why I don't think it's good that Nerina is restrained by the guitar. I'd much rather she be allowed to move freely, to express physically the emotions of the song.

In my opinion, "everybodies gone to war", although a good song, is the worst song on the album and this one comes in a little aboce it. I would recomend that anyone with a soul gives the full "fires" album a listen, the songs mr king, nickindia and damascus in particular should be heard by all!...
