Does anyone know the name of the first track? It accompanied the BBC2 interlude slides when a schools programme finished early and I recall it being used during the spring of 1985 when a VT problem interfered with televised snooker coverage.
Any info re track 2 in this clip? Its another one of those tracks thats haunted me since my childhood days! Remember this being played loads at the time, although more often than not edited to suit the interval length
The first track played over the interlude slide sounds like a Jeff Wayne composition (it may go hand in hand with 'The Eve of The War' from 'The War of The Worlds') and was on an occasion when it was used when a vision problem developed during BBC2 coverage of a snooker tournament in 1985

Music intervals like these disappeared from BBC Television when PDC came out in the 1990's
