@blusunshine777 I am a Christian because I believe in Jesus and I Love you as my sister. Take ALL organized religion (including Christianity) and throw them out the window. I do attend a non denominational church, yet compare EVERYTHING STRICTLY with scripture. Then use the gifts He has given you (1 Peter 4:10) as the opportunities present themselves in or out of church. There is truly the need to discover the obstacles within that block you off from Him.
We look into the past where our defects have hurt others Selfishness; self centeredness is the root of our troubles. Driven by a hundred forms of fear, self delusion, self pity and self seeking we step on the toes of our fellows and they retaliate Seemingly without provocation, yet we invariably find that it is decisions we have made in the past based upon self that later put us in a position to be hurt. All the time rationalizing and self justifying to support our pride andegos.
Resentment, jelousey, frustration, fear --- pride, anger, greed, gluttony, lust, lust, envy, sloth. These are the things that keep us from being receptive of the Fathers forgiveness and block us off from the sunlight of the spirit. We can only rid/overcome these things with His help and guidence. This requires willingness, surrender, work, and facing the pain of truth, you will know a new freedom living in contentement, gratitude and grace.
So thankful for under-shepherds like this man, who God has raised up to awaken His true bride. Reminds me of the youtube sermon, "The Milky Way" and men like Paul Washer.

I live in Ireland but i follow Time square and Carter Conlon comes to my church every summer to preach he is like my pastor i listen to him and this message is so true... paul tells us to rebuke the unrighteous brother and as David Wilkerson said there are wolves in sheep clothing... thank you Carter, we need to be well fixed in this late age... the hour is late and the need is great...to all the false ministers, shame on you for deceiving the people... God is not mocked, remember that!!!
I have watched this several times and was thee sermon/video to open my eyes to the Purpose Driven Church we were members of (and left)....but what I find most interesting about the timing of this sermon is the fact it was the Sunday after 9/11 and Pastor Conlon's heart (as always,) was sharing the Gospel and running from churches who are not preaching the Truth of the Scriptures. THINK ABOUT IT, TSC is in NYC! He could have had a sermon about deeds and helping, yet his focus was on SOULS!
Everytime i listen to this i get goose bumps and tears begin to show, if more preachers would be as sincere and Godly as this preacher the world would be alot better off. He speaks the truth, there are alot of preachers out here today speaking in the name of our lord jesus christ and taking peoples money There are alot of PAY YOUR WAY TO HEAVEN CHURCH'S in this world today. I pray that when the lord returns he will have mercy on those who do this in his name.
There will come a day when every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord. The devil is amongst you when you argue over verses and doctrine. @lisashaye I know this is really hard to swallow. It is not easy. Pray real hard though because this is something you have to know. Everything in the bible was inspired by God, when it was written, but the assembly of the bible was inspired by Satan and very wicked men. See Jesus came to save you from the written, and give you the spirit. You can't know God by reading about him. You have to know his voice. In the new testament it says the new testament is not written with ink. It is a trick.

I only read the King James Version, because it is the only text that has been pretty much preserved. But you're still right. Have you noticed that there are a few books missing in the Bible? Stephen quoted many Scriptures when he spoke to the Sanhedrin, Paul was a scholar of the Old Testament, the author of Hebrews knew the OT and used it as a example of how to walk by faith. It was Jesus' disciples and Paul who wrote nearly all of the New Testament. You know these facts and still deny it is the Word of God? The Holy Ghost inspired the Bible, and I would rather die than put it down.

I love my pastors and im not attacking them personally but i go to a mega-church and im soooo sick of the sermons that are full of jokes and stories, i walk out feeling like someon shot with a tranquilizer when i hould be walking out heart-broken and thirsty for the word. This generation needs some good old hell fire preaching to snap it back into reality

@RedDirtRubicon thanks for the response! i do in fact listen to quite a few david wilkerson, conlon, and ravenhill sermons off sermonindex but as for paul washer i just cannot bring myself to listen to a Calvinist... There is something extremely unsettling about the doctrines of Calvinism in my spirit and when i read the word of God I simply cannot find the evidence for it. Theres alot i could say but the whole issue of Calvinism is very upsetting to me

@fakirJ i read Romans 8 and 9 a few days ago sir, so don't falsly accuse me of something. My problem withCalvinism is that people want to get Gods sovereignty down to a science and i don't think we can really do that nor should we try. God is outside of time and space therfore foreknowledge and election are terms that noone can really undertand being that we are finite beings who are limited by time. carter conlon is such a great preacher he came to cork ireland last summer to a confrence for a week we were blessed to hear his words he is a great man of christ and a brilliant person

I truly love Carter Conlon! He is very passionate in his preaching! Even though, (being very honest from my heart) that their are a few things I do not agree with in some of his teachings. Yeah, it´s sad how the church on many place over the world turned into entertainment, to entrain the people of today. Rather than preach repentance and truth. The truth isen´t easy and it hurts. But when we repent and turn away from our wicked ways, then we get real joy and love in God, in The Holy Spirit.
Taking our own cross and walk with Jesus every day, that´s the only way to live.
We have to let Jesus live trough us again, in a more powerful way than ever.

This country (USA) for the most part has NO CLUE who Christ really is. They chase after endless 'signs and wonders' from corrupt men. They seek the prosperity gospel that is sending so many to hell. They are wanting to 'feel good' about themselves and don't want to feel convicted about anything. The church in America is no church at all. I do attend a non denominational church, yet compare EVERYTHING STRICTLY with scripture. Then use the gifts He has given you (1 Peter 4:10) as the opportunities present themselves in or out of church. There is truly the need to discover the obstacles within that block you off from Him.

I have watched this several times and was thee sermon/video to open my eyes to the Purpose Driven Church we were members of (and left)....but what I find most interesting about the timing of this sermon is the fact it was the Sunday after 9/11 and Pastor Conlon's heart (as always,) was sharing the Gospel and running from churches who are not preaching the Truth of the Scriptures. THINK ABOUT IT, TSC is in NYC! He could have had a sermon about deeds and helping, yet his focus was on SOULS!

There will come a day when every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord. The devil is amongst you when you argue over verses and doctrine. Cast him away and focus on the BIG message. Your doctrine won't get you to Heaven nor your works. Only the FACT that you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and the Blood He shed on that cross will get you there. Arguing only leads the blind further away. @lisashaye I know this is really hard to swallow. It is not easy. Pray real hard though because this is something you have to know. Everything in the bible was inspired by God, when it was written, but the assembly of the bible was inspired by Satan and very wicked men. See Jesus came to save you from the written, and give you the spirit. You can't know God by reading about him. You have to know his voice. In the new testament it says the new testament is not written with ink. It is a trick.

I only read the King James Version, because it is the only text that has been pretty much preserved. But you're still right. Have you noticed that there are a few books missing in the Bible? It's not a good thing, but the Bible can still help us a lot. Though I very much agree with you, praying is much more powerful.

@lainy1310 The people in the New Testament had the Old Testament Scriptures and knew them by heart. Stephen quoted many Scriptures when he spoke to the Sanhedrin, Paul was a scholar of the Old Testament, the author of Hebrews knew the OT and used it as a example of how to walk by faith. It was Jesus' disciples and Paul who wrote nearly all of the New Testament. You know these facts and still deny it is the Word of God? The Holy Ghost inspired the Bible, and I would rather die than put it down.

I am a new creation, and I have a very close relationship with my God. I pray multiple times every day and I read my Bible every single day. There is no use telling me to put it down. He came to give life to Israel, but they killed the Lord in the flesh. His spirit still came. After you receive his spirit you can't Go back to the law. The children of that covenant killed Jesus. King James, born 1566 6th from the house of stewart authorized 66 books and called it the word of God. Jesus is the Word of God.

I love my pastors and im not attacking them personally but i go to a mega-church and im soooo sick of the sermons that are full of jokes and stories, i walk out feeling like someon shot with a tranquilizer when i hould be walking out heart-broken and thirsty for the word. This generation needs some good old hell fire preaching to snap it back into reality

@RedDirtRubicon thanks for the response! i do in fact listen to quite a few david wilkerson, conlon, and ravenhill sermons off sermonindex but as for paul washer i just cannot bring myself to listen to a Calvinist... There is something extremely unsettling about the doctrines of Calvinism in my spirit and when i read the word of God I simply cannot find the evidence for it. Theres alot i could say but the whole issue of Calvinism is very upsetting to me

@trackguy2 That's because you never read Romans 9; Efes 2:8-9; Acts 13:48; Romans 8:30; John 1:12-13; Efes 1:4-8 and THOUSANDS of others. Stop your false teachings and before talking with somebody else about the Bible truth I would recommend you first take the Bible and study it deeply, just because you're not 'OK' with calvinism doesn't mean that your opinion will ever matter in regard with the objective truth, Calvinism in 100% biblical, infact I can't find verses for Arminianism really.

My problem withCalvinism is that people want to get Gods sovereignty down to a science and i don't think we can really do that nor should we try. God is outside of time and space therfore foreknowledge and election are terms that noone can really undertand being that we are finite beings who are limited by time. That's why you get teaching like: "Pray this little prayer with me here and Jesus will surely save you", when infact salvation is much more than that, and can never be accomplished by the will of man (John 1:12-13).

Btw, Paul Washer said in a video that he considers himself not a Calvinist, but a "5-point Spurgeonist" (Charles SpurgeonIST)
Also, he said in one sermon: "“I'd take Leonard Ravenhill any day over 20 dead Calvinists”.

Many of the posperity preachers indeed care for the poor as well; Hinn, for example, runs plenty of orphanages in various countries and supports other missionaries; Jakes has built hospitals in south America and dug wells in Africa, and Parsley has gotten thousands of Sudanese christians outta slavery. No matter what we call ourselves(Catholic, presbtyrian, charismatics, etc), we're all under Christ, we're all fighting the same battle.

I guess you would be even more repelled by Christ as He overturned the tables of the money changers in the temple. he is an angry watchman himself and i suspect is still in thrall to false relgion hence is reaction against it.

I've noticed the lonely remarks of 'EternalSkeptic77'. It would seem that those remarks are from a hollow and empty person. That they hate God and frankly for no reason. Yeah, it´s sad how the church on many place over the world turned into entertainment, to entrain the people of today. Rather than preach repentance and truth. The truth isen´t easy and it hurts. But when we repent and turn away from our wicked ways, then we get real joy and love in God, in The Holy Spirit.
Taking our own cross and walk with Jesus every day, that´s the only way to live.
We have to let Jesus live trough us again, in a more powerful way than ever.

I can not express what this message has meant to me. How blessed am I to have heard this message. This country (USA) for the most part has NO CLUE who Christ really is. They chase after endless 'signs and wonders' from corrupt men. They seek the prosperity gospel that is sending so many to hell. They are wanting to 'feel good' about themselves and don't want to feel convicted about anything. The church in America is no church at all. Most REAL Christians I know don't even attend chuch anymore because of the smell from the stintch of apostacy that is oozing out of MANY if not most "churches".
