@mudguts I am definitely getting snow chains, I just got my '04, this was the first time in deep snow, I was afraid I was going to get stuck in the street and block the snow plow, if I had only know the plow wasn't coming I would have made a better try at it. What model are you looking for X, XS, XT ?
@Bowerso I can confirm that snow tires would've made all the difference!! We've got 28 inches of snow in Sherbrooke (Quebec,Canada) last year and I was able to run into all of that snow with my 03 Forester X. Have fun with your Forester!!
Snow tires would've made all the difference there. I'm thinking of buying a used '04 Forester.
