  • @brbrynyn me

  • very good explanation on the six gates and what we should be focused on. i'm gonna try to focus on this in class.

  • great thanks for these form melbourne australia

  • oh interesting way of looking at the gates, thanks

  • when you kneel on him while he's on the ground, can't he still punch you in the nuts? how do i counter that?

  • @panda0rz By the time he is on the ground you should be overwhelming him with punches, not giving him time to respond. Fighting never works if its, "ok you punch me, now I punch you". You should never be taking turns. Like in that movie Ip Man, where Donnie Yen is fight ten guys and when he takes to the ground he always gives them atleast 5 punches before he moves on.

  • @panda0rz you drop your weight and lead knee and snap his ribs when you "kneel" on him.

  • @panda0rz it's actually a trap taken from the kim yum ma stance (the very first stance in the sim lim tao form)where both knees are 1 on his face pinned to the floor and 2 other knee pinned to his ribs while controlling his arm. it's not like a horse stance for example where your over the opponent and trying to finish him off. sort of like a standing arm bar so to speak .after you have him pinned and in control then you can really do whatever you like

  • thats four gate in the beginning because u cant kick with either legs cause your weight is on both feet equally 50 50.

  • @heyjustthetip I guess you don't know what a front kick is

  • excellent breakdown of Wing Chun science. Thanks for posting it.
