The Pentagon Papers proved without much doubt that the American government had zero problem with purposefully lying to its people for the sake of a doomed war that greatly enriched only a few while destroying the lives of millions.
I always get a kick out of the civilians in that clip. The old man just gets up and totters about to get an incredulous look at the them as if to say "What the???" And the nuns just go about their own business as if it were the most normal thing in the world, having an unknown tank with strange soldiers riding on it just roll on by. *Chuckle* Great film, one of my all time favorites since I was young. i remember sitting in my living room ages with my family watching this and that was the good old days i must say...BUT my friends love it to so its def a great show n thats a fact. I LOVE ODDBALL N KELL N BIG JOE what a mix... great!
Does any military vehicle enthusiast out there know what happened to the Sherman tank "Oddball" used in the movie-Clint Eastwood,Telly Savalas,Sutherland, ect. all rode on it-is it still around,and is it in a museum like it should be? Thanks.
