I loved my 2010 E92 320D til I drove a 2011 E92 325D which now sits in my garage.

Get a 6 pot diesel, you won't want a 4 pot again ;-)

@MakeSh00t You must be dumb for writing something that stupid. First of all, this is 18 liters when ACCELERATING WITH FULL THROTTLE, not when cruising. Your mustang has 12 liters average on highway....320d can have 6-7 liters average on highway.

0-100 km/h in 6,9 seconds with 2,0 liter diesel with 184 hp? the Mercedes E280 CDI of my father has a 3,0 liter diesel with 190 hp and goes up from 0 to 100 km/h in 7,3 seconds!I do not understand!!!!!!! What is the top speed of your 320d E92?

@IbanezGio122 , diesel engine without any problems should face 200.000 km and more :) Of course if you treat it appropriately and do all needed services. I haven't drive 320i yet, so I can't compare them. For sure benzin version should be faster at high rpms. But this 320d is also very fast for a 2.0 liter diesel engine. And has much more torque than 320i.

@IbanezGio122 go with diesel, diesel version has 177bhp weres the petrol has 170, an torque the petrol has 155 wereas diesel has 256 320d 0-62 in 8seconds (auto) manual 7.8 an 320i is 8.8(auto) an 8.1 diesel is faster more torque. an economy is a bigg diff diesel much better, so there is no reason to get petrol :)

@IbanezGio122 buy a 6 cylinder petrol engine dude, bmw diesel engines sounds like any other diesel engines!!!(no feeling) buy a mercedes on diesel, dont by a bmw on diesel, drive a 320i or 325i and hit de redline , you get so much adrenalin in your veins that you wont get out of the car ...:))) do you buy your car for your granny or what? :))))

@snakebiteE46 Hey, thanks for you comment. Yeah 320D simply sucks. Bought a nissan 350z and i cant describe to you the adrenaline i feel when i drive it :)) Dad has a E220 cdi which is a perfect car.

@IbanezGio122 dude the only problem for bmw 320d over the 320i its just that is much better :), u must be american or someting, diesel is realy good to drive and fuel economy and for his 2 models 320i 320d the diesel haw more power more grunt and muc better fuel economy.....and yea perhaps u have heard that bmw turbines have some problems , but i u maintain it properly(no tuning, and no 80km in 2th gear ) it will be ok, go and get the diesel ;)

@IbanezGio122 , I do very like power of this car :) Only 28 sec. to 200 km/h it's great time for basic 320d. Even on high rpms it always has enough power. For sure 330d is better and faster, but in everyday use it's great car. And it consumes only 8,5 liters/100 kms average with very dynamic driving :)

Anyway, you're right about the winter tires... On summer tires it should be a little bit faster, because of smaller rolling resistance. Car was great, but I've got it 4 days only (show car). Now I've got MB Sportcoupe and new BMW X3.

I always take care of my cars and never try anything stupid :) Only thing I love is speeding, but always when conditions permits me (autobahn or empty road).
