  • why is this song so HARD to play....

  • super ca me donne un bon coup de main

  • Guitar Instructor , another top notch video

  • Im pretty sure you have to actually teach something to consider calling it a lesson...Way to show off your skills, this teaches most people nothing!

  • @geetargooroo Yep, and if you follow the link in the "Show More" section above, you'll find the complete song and lesson.

  • @geetargooroo actually, for guitar players, being able to see someone's hands while they play is usually enough. it shows us the chords and the strumming patter: all we need!

  • @geetargooroo he's showing how to make the fingerings, and the notes required to make the chords. what else do you need? him to put his finger on the frets individually? the tab is right there

  • @geetargooroo your just mad cause you cant read tabs haha jk but yeah not lesson should of put tabs

  • Very Hard Song

  • bien gracias ( TRUJILLO - PERU)

  • Love the Incubus "Drive" Guitar Lessons !

    Thank you for posting guitarinstructorcom

  • Just an all around cool song !

Thanks for posting it Guitar Instructor

  • just four simple chords right..? lol they're so awkward

  • Guitar Instructor as always loved the excerpt video

Would love to have a video for Incubus "Nice To Know You"

  • The song just sounds so easy... Sadly, it has some difficulty in playing it

  • I have always enjoyed this music ...

    Nice post Guitar Instructor

  • you can change that last 5 on the low E string to an open on the a string. it makes for much less fret hand finger movement and makes the song a LOT easier.

  • Workarounds for some positions, given in numbers XY (X=# string, Y=# fret)

    2nd position: 42, 30, 23, 12

    3rd position: 30, 20, 10

    last position: 50, 45, 34, 20, 10

Check this out, it makes the riff far easier

  • u r the only one that does this correctly! thank you!

  • Hal Leonard & Guitarinstructor com !!

    Nice one man

  • Thank you GuitarInstructor

  • damn the song sounds different on my guitar, i guess it is because i don't have metal strings at the e, B and G on my guitar......

  • damn the song sounds different on my guitar, i guess it is because i don't have metal strings at the e, B and G on my guitar......

  • Hard song to learn. This is a good lesson for those of us with relative pitch, who want a quick idea of how to form the chords and follow the rythm of the song.

  • Love this song !!!!

    Happy New Year GuitarInstructor

  • this is the missing link i've been looking for. kinda like the rosetta stone haha!

  • can any 1 tell me wat the sign after the first chord has been played twice :S

  • it's a rest, rest for 16th note (so you play the chord twice then pause then continue)

  • i i remeber something from music school it's a half pause, wich kasts half of a beat...

  • @uranumty Palm mute, or chuck or any of the other names it has. Basically you just stop the strings with either a free finger on the fret board or your palm on your strumming hand.

  • This helped a sh*t load. Keep it up :)

  • Just an all around great song and guitar lesson

  • ugh hate that 2nd chord! i dont like any of the chords really but HATE THE 2ND ONE!!

  • u have to practice a lot to get this song right . . .

  • just do a c on th 10th chord

  • @coryu711 wats to hate?

  • @coryu711 Em9?

  • wuhu eventhough i have supersmall hands :D i learned it because of your video thank you!!:D

  • its sounds so easy... but tis not.

  • Nice!

you even make it seem easy! x(

  • first lesson that really helped.

    audio + video = best

i hate teachers explaining chords with words.. -_-

    ty!

  • That 2nd chord has always been a bitch for me to finger. Thankfully though with practice, I nailed it ;). This and Pardon me acoustic has some funky chords. I think Mike Einzinger in general hates playing chords a normal way, he always likes to voice them differently :D

  • a bitch for me to finger

    I'm sorry, I couldn't get over that.

  • @Blixzit i play it a diff way thats easy

  • what's so hard about an e flat maj. 7th @ the 6th register ????

  • Ugh I'll never be able to play this right :(

  • practice makes perfect

  • Phew~ got it^^

    That was hard

  • ho man, this song is not easy to learn, repetition is the key

  • @Dchug13

It easy if you put :D in the comments to spam this guitar lesson video Marty Schwartz

  • son ofa bitch man... why the fuck is this so hard??

  • either I can't see it right or the last chord that is tabbed is not that chord that is being played by the guitarist in the video..

  • yap, you're right

  • but right one is the one that the guitarist is doing

  • Yeah I have the same problem...

  • The only version I've seen that has the feeling of the original.

  • great chords:)

  • very nice lesson!

  • there is just one note thats wrong

  • This is very good. However, I think the second beat of the first bar is a half note followed by two sixteenths instead of a dotted eighth followed by a sixteenth.

  • ty, best one ive seen

  • the problem for me is rhythem ahaha

  • beautiful guitar.

  • great. like it.

  • dude this is realy good, thanks for the help

  • WOW!! I will never be able to play it that good... THanks for helping me!

  • wow this is good but I really suck ass at this.
