Really, this is more the ref's fault than Hogan's. The ref could have said, "Uh, hey buddy, there's no pinfalls here." And Hogan could have said, "My bad," and touched the fourth corner. It's bad when the refs forget the rules too.

This goes back to 1995 when it was Hogan v Vader in a strap match, and Flair ran in [in drag for some reason(?!)] and Hogan won by carrying FLAIR to all 4 corners, not Vader...
