I only collect Criterion Collection Laserdisc, DVD and Blu-Ray. I got also a xx total of great editions DVD's but it's for the shelf (the best are from Japan and Korean). I like your Oldboy Ultimate Edition. Maybe i buy the Japanese Alien Head DVD collection. Thanks for showing your great collection DVD's. ^_^

Out of interest, do you buy the boxsets because they are pretty, or do you buy them because you really want the film? I live in Exeter and we have a great Fopp that sells of box sets. I sometimes find myself buying random things I've never seen before because the packaging looks good (e.g. I recently bought the 30 Days of Night limited edition boxset, but fortunately the film wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!)

PS Could you please tell me what version of Angel you have (and perhaps post a link to it on the internet). I've just imported the Buffy R1 "Chosen Collection" boxset (which is a nicer release than the R2 version we have). The R1 equivalent boxset of Angel is blue, but yours looks black. Which version is this?

Mine in Region 2 (It is blue, bad lighting!) but it is the older set, designed like The Buffy R1 Chosen set. Unfortunately the region 1 set is now just keep cases in a box!

Wow, you have some cool limited/special editions! It inspires me to buy more dvd's and make my collection much bigger (which is extremely mediocore to yours). I love your, "Pan's Labrinyth" and "Nightmare Before Christmas" special editions. Those are pretty cool.

You don't show it in this video but on your other videos when you start it off we can see your, "Sex and The City" complete series boxset. I'd love to see the inside of that. I have the whole series as well but it's different.

Do you remember quantum leap? 80/90s show used to watch it when i was little. Think it was on one weeknight. Just bought the box set off ebay and think it would look good in your collection. As for Blu-Rays I'm still not into it yet. They're still too expensive for me. I will spend extra on special packaging etc but not for a standard keep case for Blu-Ray. If I do upgrade, I expect I will at some point in the future, I won't stop buying standard and I will not sell any of these!

The Exorcist Set just has the DVD and book about it i think. Its such a big set for so little content. I think its one of the really early 'Special' DVD sets. Around 1999 I think.

Maybe one day but I'm cheap and I'm not fussed about quality (yet). I'll happily watch a VHS and be used to it after 5 minutes. My friends got a 52 plasma and I've watched HD on there and its nice but watched standard def version of Eden Lake on there yesterday and it was still nice! I'm blind.

But wait and see I'm sure i'll upgrade eventually, just don't expect me to get rid of any DVDs!

By the way, how do you watch different Region DVDs. I've got this thing that you can connect to the PS2 so that I can watch different regions DVDs, but it says i have to have a NTSC compatible TV - is that right? How do you go about watching them?

Thanks! I just put in a remote hack on my player which I found using google. You do need a NTSC compatible TV but like 99% of TVs are. Do you have a really old TV? Is there another you could try? I hope you get it sorted!
