I got keelhauled by this band a year or so back. At first I only liked a few songs but they grew on me. At this point Alestorm is probably the best thing the global metal scene had to offer me in atleast 10 years.

I watched them playing for Sabaton a year or so back and they - not Sabaton - were the true stars of the show!

I love how the drummer gets so much in to the rhythm that he bounces up and down perfectly in beat. Hes almost like the maynard of the drums.

there are a lot of mistakes throughout the entire DVD, but to be honest, i like them too much for it to bother me. i mean you only have to watch how far chris has to play that keytar, to realise that you're obviously gonna go wrong every now and again. and try singing on top of that!!
