I really like the film. Yes, the acting was very weak but the storyline and the atmosphere were great. 'Splice' is definitely one of the most underrated Sci-Fi films of the decade 2000-2009 (along with Supernova, Mission to Mars, The Cell, Ultraviolet, Equilibrium, Cube 2, Alien Lockdown, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Serenity, The Cave, Signs, Hulk, Terminal Invasion, Avatar (2004), A Scanner Darkly, Ghosts of Mars, Moon, A Sound of Thunder and The Chronicles of Riddick)
