I have a David Eckstein jersey I found at a Wal Mart in STL in the spring of 2008. He'd already signed with Toronto, so anything with his name on it was marked way down to just sell and get rid of. That was the best $20 I ever spent.

Guy you are wrong! Compare this Scab Eckstein to the other GREAT Shortstops in the game! He hits for No power, He's a singles hitter, No throwing arm, and doesn't even steal bases like he used to! Cheack out this guys rating compared to other shortstops! Dont get me wrong, he would be a nice little bench player for a good team!

This guy Eckstein is the BIGGEST SCRUB! He gets a few Bleeder hits in the post season, and you guys want to put this weak ass hitter in the Hall of Fame! He has an average glove, with NO ARM and cant hit for shit! He would be a back up infielder on any good team!!

are you kidding? eckstein is one of the best 2 strike hitters and has been said to be a great short stop. even if he doesnt have an amazing arm he gets it there and thats probably more than you can say.

He gives 100% evertime on the field and is a team player, teams win championships not individuals. That's why the Yankee's can't even buy a championship or a division title!
