Thanks. I scored the free kick the way I score every free kick; line up the head of the kicker with the right post, use about 1/3 power and curl the heck out of the ball (ie left stick diagonal + up). Works like a charm :)

My gameplay is faster? I'm usually pushing the ball up the field and attacking non-stop, so maybe that's the difference. Very rarely do I sit around and pass, pass, pass, although that method works better than an all-out attack, lol...As far as I know, I play on the default gameplay settings...

The capture card records in MPEG 1/MPEG 2 for the highest quality setting. Otherwise, it has a ton of other customizable settings :)
