If love was the opposite of condemnation, then God has to be a hypocrite, since he permits people to be condemned. This priest seems to be more charismatic than Catholic. Does he not trust the teachings of the Church on such matters? Does he not believe that God's teaching on such matters are in the teachings of the Church (which were given to her by Christ)? Presumptive, I think. Friendly, but ultimately dangerous.
