How to Set Up AT&T 3G/4G APN Settings for Android on Unlocked International Phones!

hey, im now running my phone on 2G, can i use the video to enable 3G for faster browsing???, or should i contact my network operator for any additional settings to be downloaded in the phone,,

is it irrespective of the present network connection,,??

wow it works! i ave a htc ispire 4g w/ att service an it works! i dont know why my internt didnt work when i first got my phone, y it wasint set up, but i just typed in the new apn, an its working so far, ive read alot of blogs thou before when i was trying to set up the internet an sometimes other people would say they would set up there apn an it would work for acouple of days but then it wouldnt :/ so hoping nothing like that happens to me, but thanks a bunch!

i just unlocked a mytouch 4G for tmobile but i am only getting 2G?! HELP PLEASE

@PEDRO8493 I believe MyTouch 4G only supports 2G on AT&T, if that's what you were asking, you must get a phone that supports ATT bands first so APN won't help in your case, u need a phone that is compatible with AT&T bands like a Galaxy Nexus.

Notice that if you make a call while tethering on ATT LTE new network, data connection default to 2G and download speed become less than 0.5MBS upload 0.01MBS… Sometime data disconnects altogether. I had Tmobile and making calls while tethering doesn't conflict. My question to you, & hope you would have an answer to it is there any APN configuration that locks atleast the 3G (hopefully 4G of even better LTE) while making calls so it doesn’t default back to 2G? I would appreciate your response.

@javv1988 - Do you know if your phone uses HSPA 850/1900 frequencies? If not, you will only get 2G speeds.
