Well, if you played the games, it would become incredibly obvious. Actually, I believe the AMV also highlights the door to Kingdom Hearts, which is not only the name of the franchise/series/etc but also someplace you place a key... And if you are asking as to why they made the decision, that is probably unknown-- but if fame and profit are any indications of whether or not a key as a weapon was successful? I think they made a good move.

I like the vid. Kingdom Hearts is one of my fav games. BTW, im another person who associates the song with dancing sora, lol.
