It seems I can only like things now.. no more "5* Awesome"...I must like it or not...no room for subtly or nuance...well, rant aside. I love this the pleasure of people watching in big cities is why we pay €8 for a coffee on the Champs Élysees...you've wonderfully captured our inner anthropologist...also, like the pink socks on the scary 39 steps down....& the irony of the painter in an art gallery and the pointillist intro to the park...excellent...I mean... awesome
@gypsyjazzer Jeez...where have you been for the last month or more ?...this is OLD HAT now ...we have all got used to it...moved on...hahaha...Tipp is def a long way away...thanks for watching Pa..
ps You did hear that Gerry Ryan had passed away ...did you ?
Thanks for the tour! It's always a pleasure to look though your eyes.
grin@the family... I love going to the city, especially when the kids were young. They used to hate school trips because they had already been to the museum and the art gallery, etc... many times. It was cheaper to become a member if you thought you would attend more than once a year so I made sure we got our money's worth.
@steffproductions Felini himself could not have orchestrated that haha! I jest...but it did sort of just fall into my lap...the 'sofa' was empty when I began filming it...ciao for niao..k
You sure did have yourself there a good perch. mon cherie. Oh my god then came the stairs IM afraid you are frightening me now! and after alittle while we are in the park and dancing to the blues Mcgoglinians and how fantastic to then bourd acraft along the river. LOL I hope you are not plaigerising my imagination and sorry if my spelling is not as hot as yours but I suspect you are more well read
@77nova454 Why hello there...don't I remember you from somewhere ? Haha...just kiddin...nice to hear from you..as for my spelling ...it is atroshias deze daze...!
I *love* the Tate Modern — so many amazing experiences I've had in that Turbine Hall, from vertigo-inducing springy spiral staircases to crowds lying on the floor, making shapes when the ceiling was mirrorised, to groping in the dark .... LOL — talking of vertigo, loved your Hitchcockian 'Stairs' piece in this!
I like what you did with this, too bad i didn't get a chance to go to Tate the two times i was in London. Hey, be careful, that little sequence on the stairs looked dangerous
Oh that was fun - the stairs were great - the wood contrasting with your socks and scarf were wonderful and the perspective just made it perfect. I loved the family in the booth - sharing the boy's video. And the park made me want to go on a picnic - although perhaps in a less crowded park. Loved it.
My favorite part is the garden and my second favorite is the matchy matchy of your socks and scarf going down the stairs and my third favorite is the enthusiasm you show for brilliant London in the description. Thanks for posting!
Loved it! It's been a while since I've been to the Tate. Wonderful place. I liked the pink socks and floating shawl descending the stairs. Was it really April when people were out sitting on the lawn? Great piece. Well done.
@Idlinfarm It was 23 degrees ...amazing alright...been almost the same here ...Pink socks....yes...like them myself ...pink for a girl...ha ! Thanks Ida..
This was an interesting video. The spooky, intense music of the stair scene made it seem as if you were headed down to inflict "horror" on the group of people from the previous scene. lol When you were zooming in on the crowd of people at the end, I thought you were headed in for the seated guy with his butt crack showing. So. I'm thinking, is she really going to zoom in on him? Then I was slightly disappointed when you didn't! :-) -Steve-
@OceanTownPictures Uh...so you want the UN-edited version....? Jus kiddin...;) thanks for watching a very non eventful thing...tho' I do think that family group was some gem to me...
@xyzllii The family group scene was great because it was you filming them, the boy filming the girl and everyone grouping together, makes you wonder what conversation they were having and why they were there. Just a slice of everyday life and that in itself is really beautiful! -Steve-
@OceanTownPictures Too true Steve...that is why I love it so. But all the Potential of Drama lies therein...stroppy faced dad...demure mother...interesting kid's behaviour...intruder arrives and the WHOLE dynamics of the group changes...really a classic little scene to me...
@tanx2u2 Yes Tanx... the family fascinated me...only after I saw it really ...I had no idea how events might unfold....miles up from them...amazed the sound of footsteps carried so well..etc...
