the %'s are wrong here. The only way the kings can win is if they get like, Q, J, 10, 9, x, but then it's still an auto split which can't win. this means that you can only win on a straight flush which is like .0001% not 2%!
There is no need for a straight flush, a simple flush would be enough for a non-split win. As long as the flush doesnt suit one of the aces, of course.
what ppl dont realize is its not hard to fold kings preflop, ive done it about 8 times give or take and been wrong about 2-3 times no more...
you have to consider who your playing with what hand could he be calling an all in with or going all in with... ppl get married to kings too easy, shit i folded Q's to an aj knowing he had ace jack but my friend asked me to call to see and i did and i lost knowing it would happen... just coz u have the best hand doesnt mean it will win learn to fold ppl

This isn't really a cold deck. A cold deck is when you have the advantage to begin with and then get drawn out on when you have a way higher chance of winning than the other guy. Having preflop KK and KK and AA isn't a cold deck. Was 100% expecting four spades to come up, which would have been a cold deck.

It's not anymore rigged than real-life games. For example, let's say you play a real game and have AA hand and your opponent has KK. Obviously you have the best hand. But sometimes, another king will pop out on the board and he will still beat you. It doesn't seem fair at the time, it seems rigged, but really it's just bound to happen from time to time (= When it happens on pokerstars, the players prolly just don't think it's really random bc they are sore losers d:

@cirstarcap obviously...but this isn't a cash game. In a tourny; with a guy snap pushing and another guy calling ahead of you; a call with KK would equal the KK being over valued. "Second best" second being the key word there. Cash game different story IMO

@joerobertson btw it wasn't every penny I had, it was just all but 30$ of everything I'd brought w/me on the casino cruise. I didn't lose my house or anything. It just sucked cause it was a 4 hour cruise, and that happened in 2 hours. I had to play fuckin wheel of fortune slots the rest of the time just to be able to get sloshed (they won't serve you alcohol unless you're playing a game) what made it even worse I didn't even get the bad beat of the night bounty

@joerobertson cold deck just means a series of unfavorable losses due to being dealt what you thought were good hands until the cards were flipped. It's pretty much the same goddamn thing. I'd say flopping a str8, turning a flush w/an up and down best hand in poker draw and losing to a boat on the river is an icy bitch of a cold deck and a bad beat their champ. @DamianTheFarmer First of all it was a flopped up and down K high str8 with a K high str8 flush draw with a turned nut flush. All in and call (by me) on the turn to a set of aces. He hit a full house on the river, and it was for my whole goddamn bankroll on all except for the $30 i had in my wallet on a goddamn ocean liner casino cruise. This isn't even a bad beat. He got his money in with the worst hand, regardless of the other guy having the only 2 other k's in the deck, he's still pretty dead

No it's randomly chosen just like a real game... But when you play pokerstars and you get outdrawn even when you have the best hand (which is going to happen sometimes no matter what) then it seems rigged lol.

I haven't personally played on pokerstars yet (just little sites here and there), and it does seem rigged, especially if you have top pair or something else significant. Disclaimer: I don't know anything about poker odds, what to bet compared to what you have, etc. I just play occasionally on the Internet (no money) and with others.

It's not anymore rigged than real-life games. For example, let's say you play a real game and have AA hand and your opponent has KK. Obviously you have the best hand. But sometimes, another king will pop out on the board and he will still beat you. It doesn't seem fair at the time, it seems rigged, but really it's just bound to happen from time to time (= When it happens on pokerstars, the players prolly just don't think it's really random bc they are sore losers d:

I've seen in a cash game preflop 5-way all-in, AK vs. JJ vs. JJ vs. QQ vs. QQ -- and flopped Ace followed by running flush for one of the Jacks, so sick.

@rigbst actually, typed too quickly, it WAS a STRAIGHT flush (T987 on board, obv.) but it was "running" i.e. backdoor, in the sense where turn AND river were needed to make it happen, lol)
