Rygar - The Legendary Adventure Part 3

I hate the fact that there are no puzzles and that you can demolish the whole game with that weapon. In fact it's expected because build up points are hidden in objects, which is kinda lame because instead of fighting enemies you spend most of your time busting statues, columns, rocks, stone arcs, etc. >.<

The music is nice though, and the scenery is not bad either.

Controls look horrible because they change from section to section, so you end up going in a totally different direction each time.

I love God of War but Rygar came first. It's an 80's franchise and The Legendary Adventure for PS2 surely was cloned by Dave Jaffe. Jaffe just created a more hardcore franchise. I think Tecmo should anounce a new Rygar for PS3. It would be amazing. Diskarmor makes me remember the two shields from Libra Dohko's armour from Saint Seiya. Great manga/anime.

Why do you idiots go so far as to say a game "stole" stuff from another game when it's like one gameplay mechanic? Gears of War STOLE from kill.Switch, because the gameplay is identical; god of war is similar to this game because of, what, they both have a weapon on a chain? Did Rygar steal from any game that used a chain mace because it had a chain mace? No. I'm sure GoW took elements from this game too, but no more than what this game has taken from other games. Grow up.

My god the fanboys here suck, listen guys, Rygar for the ps2 came out three years before God of War, of course god of war will be better graphically since technology advances in rendering and gameplay mechanics, and hell God of war stole quick time events from Shenmue. it doesnt mean god of war and rygar are bad games, if you were to compare mario 64 and mario galaxy, of course galaxy has better mechanics but does that make it superior to the 64 version no they are both good in their own rights.

Yeah and whoever the idiot was who gave thumbs down to this comment needs a head examination cause God of war and God of War 2 are considered two of the best PS2 games or the two best games on PS2 this one doesn't come close to comparing to the two and the combat sucks so bad that I died four or five times before I beat the first boss.

I love the orchestrated music pieces in this game. They're so gorgeous. It's a shame the rest of the soundtrack wasn't orchestrated too. This track and place is called "Geryon Hill".

rygar 1st one came out in 87 on nes,

then in 2002 or 2003 this one came out 2 or 3 years before god of war came out,

that game came out in 2005
